Flash back
Swinging, the breeze against my hair flying through wind. Laughter, the defeating laughter of children. Smiles, the sky lit with innocence.
I remember the warm breeze engulfing me as I ran, racing Billy through the park. He scooped me into his arms and swung me round, peace in a world of war.
Spinning, endless spinning on the roundabout. Round and round everything a blur. Safety in his arms.
Up and down, reaching for the angels, missing every time crashing back down to the reality that suffocates me. Silent screams as I bump up off of my seat the fear of falling.
