Chapter 5

Blaire's POV:

Today was the day I moved into my new house! Well it's more like mine and my best friend Sam's house. Sammy went to school with me when I went to school here. She was one of the only girls who actaully liked me, so since then we became best friends. We even Skyped regularly. When she found out that I wanted to move to London, she instantly offered the spare room at her house that her parents pay for her. Her parents spoiled her so much it's unreal. Plus since were best friends, her parents agreed that I could live there for free, so that's an amazing bonus. I packed all my things into my suitcase and sat down on my bed. I got a text so I checked my phone. It was from Josh.

Josh: Hey Blaire, I'm free for a bit this morning, so me, Simon, and Freya thought we could come help you settle into your new house :)

Me: That would be great! I haven't seen Freya in forever and I really want to see her. Do you mind picking me up from the hotel?

Josh: She said the same thing. And no problem, we'll be there in 5 minutes

I grabbed everything and made my way down the stairs. I checked out at the front desk and thanked them. The past few days have been great. I mainly spent time with Cal and Sammy. Other then that I texted the others.  I'm glad Simon and I finally made up because now we can all be friends without me and Simon always being pissed at each other. It was like it was back in the states. My thoughts got interrupted by my phone ringing. It was Simon. I answered laughing.

"Hello." I said chuckling.

"Hey, were outside. Come out whenever you're ready." He said. I laughed being the inappropriate 10 year old I was.

"Is that a Gay joke?" I laughed playing around with him.

"Shut up you dork." He said in reply laughing.

"I'll be out in... now." I said walking out and waving to them. I hung up and approached the car. Freya ran out the car towards me. I ran towards her and hugged her.

"I've missed you so much!" She exclaimed letting go.

"I missed you so much too! Look at you, you look amazing as always." I said excitedly.

"But look at you!" She exclaimed. We both laughed.

"Okay you two, we can catch up while we help Blaire unpack!" Josh yelled from the car. Simon hopped out of the back seat and grabbed my suitcase. 

"Well, aren't you a gentleman." I said teasing him.

"Anything for you Ma'am." He said in a very posh accent. I rolled me eyes and laughed as I got into the backseat of the car. Simon got back into the car a few seconds later. I looked at him and smiled. He smiled back. I looked down at my hand. The emptiness was replaced with Simon's hand. I intertwined our fingers and put my head on his shoulder. In that moment all I could think of was when we were back in the states. When we were head over heals for each other, when we spent all those day's together, when we thought we'd be together forever. But like everything, it has to end eventually.

"We're here." Josh said parking his car. I lifted my head and unlocked our fingers. The summer wind filled my palm as I got out of the car. I grabbed my suitcase and ran up to the house. I didn't bother knocking I ran right in.

"Sammy!!" I yelled excitedly. Footsteps started running down the stairs. Sammy came running down the stairs and jumped into my arms. "I can't believe I'm gonna live with you." I whispered into her ear.

"Believe it honey. We're gonna have so much fun!" she said laughing. Freya, Simon, and Josh walked in.

"Sammy, you know Freya and Josh from school, but this is uh, Simon." I said hesitantly.

"Hey Freya and Josh, glad to see you guys finally got together." She said. "And Simon? The one you used to talk about 24/7? The one who broke you into a million pieces?" She added getting angry.

"Sammy, it's fine, we're fine." I said nodding at her.

"I'm watching you." She said to him. Josh and Freya laughed.

"They're here to help and hang out for a bit is that cool?" I asked her.

"As long as Simon doesn't break anymore hearts." Sammy said with a grin on her face. We all laughed and Simon turned red.

"Awe, it's okay Si, I forgave you, she will too." I said hugging him laughing.

12:00pm

We finally finished unpacking my stuff which wasn't a lot. I thanked the others before they left and now I'm sitting on my brand new couch watching Netflix with my best friend. "Hey Sammy?" I asked breaking the silence.

"Yes?" She questioned pausing the movie.

"Can we go get something to eat?" I asked with a smile.

"Why? But yes we can." She said laughing.

"I need to talk to you over food and I'm really craving onion rings." I said laughing. Sammy chuckled as she knew  onion rings were my favourite food.

"Let's go you dork." She said grabbing my hand. We put on our shoes and headed out of the house.

1:00pm

We pulled into the parking lot of Burger King. I laughed. I remember our group of friends when I lived here practically lived at Burger King. We spent so many hours here. I got out of the car and it was like the memories played in my head. "Remember when Me, Josh, and Tobi left you out in the rain while we went to Burger king?" I laughed walking into the restaurant.

"Yeah and I was soaking wet by the time I found you guys." Sammy said not impressed.

"That was hilarious You have to admit that." I said laughing.

"Yeah it was pretty funny." She said laughing before we ordered our food. Once we got our food, we sat down outside since it was such a nice day. I ordered onion rings and a milkshake and Sammy ordered chicken nuggets and a root beer. "So what did you want to tell me?" Sammy said breaking the silence.

"So, do you remember how easy I fell for some people?" I asked looking straight into her eyes. She nodded so I kept talking. "So, I've only been here for like literally 5 days but I think I already like someone." I said blushing. She stopped eating and looked at me.

"Who? Spill the beans. Wait no, let me guess." She said looking into the sky thinking. "Cal?" She asked. I shook my head. "Tobi?" She asked again.

"No, he's literally a bro to me." I replied.

"Josh?" She gasped. I laughed.

"NO, I would never do that to Freya. I also think of him as a bro." I said.

"Than who?" She asked finally with no more answers.

"Think from 2 summers ago, big thing, hated this person for a while." Sammy interrupted by gasping.

"NO WAY!" She exclaimed. I smiled and looked down at the ground. She laughed. "Your secrets safe with me."
