"W-wait! Stop!"
I almost lost my balance. I fell to my knees, somehow still on the railing. I looked at the person that spoke. It was a tall man. I couldn't make out features from the dark rain. He stepped closer making me flinch.
"Please, just please get down from there." He said.
I didn't say anything and looked back down at the water. I've been abused since I was 10, by my father and people at school. My life has been miserable since I said I was gay. I looked back at him, he was slowly walking towards me with his arms out in front of him.
"Please." He said again. I slowly got off the railing. "Do you have anywhere to go?" I shook my head no. I heard him sigh, "Get in the car." He told me. I looked up at him. "You can stay at my place for the night and we can figure things out in the morning."
I walked closer to him and looked up at him. He nodded his head giving me a reassuring it's okay, you're safe look. I walked to the passenger side and got in. I sat down and buckled my seatbelt. The man opened the drivers side and sat down, buckling his seatbelt as well.
I was so wet and cold and exhausted that I fell asleep before he even got a chance to say anything.Short chapter sorry
