"W-wait! Stop!" I yelled at him. He almost fell, but was on his knees still on the railing. Then he looked at me, he looked so sad and scared. I took a step closer and he flinched which made me feel bad. "Please, just please get down from there." I told him.
He turned his head looking back down at the water not saying anything. I slowly made my way over to him with my arms out in front of me so I could maybe look more friendly. He looked back at me. "Please." I pleaded.
He got off the railing slowly, shaking a little bit. I couldn't tell if it was from nerves or the cold rain. "Do you have anywhere to go?" I asked him. He shook his head no. I sighed and thought for a moment. "Get in the car." I told him. He looked up at me with a confused look on his face. "You can stay at my place for the night and we can figure things out in the morning." He walked closer to me and I tried to give him a it's okay look.
He walked to the passenger's side and I got in seeing him already buckled in. I kinda thought for a moment and turned to look at him to ask him a question, but he was already asleep. I kinda chuckle to myself at how fast he fell asleep.
I started up the car and drove home. Once I got to my house I pulled into the driveway and turned the car off. I looked at the guy, I wasn't sure if I wanted to wake him or try carrying him into the house. I decided to just carry him since I'm guessing he's had a rough day. Thankfully it stopped raining. I get out of my side and walk to his. I unbuckled his seatbelt and carefully put one arm behind his back and the other under his knees. Our clothes were both wet. I lifted him up surprised at how light he was. I walked to the door and sort of managed to open it. Once I was in the house I decided to take him to one of the spare rooms. I walked up the stairs to the room, which is next to mine, and set him on the bed. He was still sleeping.
The room was nice, it had a regular closet, a bathroom, a dresser, and a clock. I go to grab a blanket from my room to cover him up so he could have some warmth. I grab some extra clothes that might fit him as well. I felt bad for leaving him with wet clothing but I didn't feel comfortable changing his clothes, so I put the clothes on top of the dresser.
I walk back to my room and got ready for bed. Once I was done brushing my teeth, I took off my clothes so I was in my boxers and went to bed.
