You can say I flew to my room. What do I do now? The guy I've been crushing over for the past two years is coming over to my home. My Bright Blue doll-house home. He's gonna be walking in the hallway I walk through everyday, he's gonna be sitting on the couch I sit on everyday, he's gonna be In.My.Home. I rushed to the bathroom to take a shower, then rushed back to my room to change. What do i wear? I could just dress casually like everyday, but he might think I'm a slob, but if i dress too much he's gonna think I'm trying hard. Ah screw it, Levi's and band merch it is.
Before I could finish combing my semi-chestnut semi-blond hair, A 3 short knocks almost gave me a heart attack. I finished combing my hair as fast as I could and ran downstairs. I opened the door to be greeted with a heart melting smile, I swear If you look hard enough, you won't find a single flaw in his smile. No, I reject that out of hand.
"Hey," he said, smiling.
I stood there, just looking at him.
"Jasmine?" He said knitting his brows.
"Yes, hi! uh I'm sorry, come in." I finally came out of my doze. gosh I'm so creepy, I'm sure the poor guy is terrified of me right now, he's probably thinking of a way to run out of here. He walked to the living room, examining his surroundings. He looked amused.
"Nice place," he said. he sat sluggishly on the brown leather sofa in the middle of the room. He stayed silent for a moment, looking at the lit fire place in front of him.
But I know better than to think he just came here to hang out with me, he told me earlier that he heard what happened at school, did he also hear what happened with Alex? his silence is not really helping the situation.
"So," he finally spoke, so is a word so I don't really care if it's just a so.
"You heard huh?" I said looking at the fire burning bright. Do i sit next to him? or two meters away from him?
"Yes, and I wan't you to know that I don't believe any of it." he said looking at me, his eyes full of concern and something else I can't seam to figure out.
"They're just a punch of blabber mouths all they care about is gossip, so what if I gave you a ride home?" He continued.I wasn't quite sure what he was talking about, what about the ride home? what does it have to do with anything?
"You can sit you know, It's your home." he said patting the space next to him. I sat awkwardly where he motioned for me to, keeping enough space between us, so i can breathe and not dry-heave.
"Why were they talking about the ride you gave me?" I asked.
"Who cares? they just follow gossip like moths. They think we, you know." he said it and I couldn't believe it. Oh my god. Those, Ugh I don't even know what to call them. Why would they assume that? why would anybody assume that? I had never... let alone with the most popular guy at school. The one which had girls swarming around him like flies.
"Wow, uh no.. that's.. wow." That was all that came out of my astonished mouth.
he scooted closer to me. "Yeah, but you know we shouldn't reject the possibility of that happening." he smirked and it was so beautiful.
what the frickin frick frackle did he just say?
"Uhh..um," I said.
He chuckled, then he put his hand on my thigh, yep straight to my thigh. He's pretty straight forward, this guy.
He inched closer and grinned. "Jasmine," he said.
"Yeah?" I breathed out searching for my voice.
