Religion is a load of nonsense, don't care what grief I get from saying that, why should I be silenced for speaking up. All religion is, is a way to control women. Religion scared you into believing it, then locks you in with its vicious circle of, you will be punished if you question the power of the "lord", more like false image given scary attributes to make you feel small, ever wander why churches are so tall?
They are tall to intimidate you, make you feel so small so you would believe anything to keep yourself safe, religion is something that you want to believe, not the truth.
People who argue for religion, the only point that they can come up with is "God exists cos the Bible said so"! If you were to believe that this was sensical in any way, then you've got something wrong in your head, it's such a nonsense and contradictory argument that it amazes me at the level of stupidity that people can be.
Ever seen the film Idiocracy, if not I highly recommend you do, the current affairs of the years 2017 are becoming more like the future in Idiocracy, with a lunatic voted as president of the United States, racist and fascistic person who may be clever, but is stupid. One reason this lunatic was elected was religion. Oh look, it's got its face everywhere, influencing people do to things that restrict them in life. What a waste of beautiful life, because of what, some capricious person back in the beginning of civilization decided to be utterly selfish and write a book to reassure people, to make them feel happy, so they fall into this trap of endless closed minded mess and no questioning, just remaining still, not exploring anything else, not achieving anything but sitting in a wooden building worshiping something in your mind, that you made up, lying to yourself to make yourself feel better about everything. Yes, death is horrible, id like there to be an afterlife, but I make a safe and a really safe assumption that there's no such thing ,as science, the facts of everything, what's true and proven true time and time again,
Is outwitting religion all the time. Some people must serioisly be so closed minded and not question anything to still believe in such nonsense.
People may argue that religion makes people better people, people are decent enough not to need a book of rules to tell them what's wrong and right, after all we wrote the rules, good and bad is our own concept. Religion is full of so much hatred and disgust towards the homosexual people for instance, their aren't many christians that are nasty to them, they're nice to them, an example of us choosing what rules we want to use.
Religion is a trap, it entices you in then shuts the door on you, keeping you locked inside, this door may be fear, sadness or anything you'd rather be away from, wouldn't you rather know the truth?
