"That's the last one," I said to my best friend, Alejandra, as I put the last box into our car.
"I'm so excited to move in together!" Alejandra exclaimed. I smiled at her enthusiasm. "Me too,"
I glanced at the house I was now moving out of. I lived here my whole life with my parents. I've recently turned twenty and decided to move in with my best friend Alejandra.
My parents walked out of the house, walking over to me and Alejandra.
"Promise us you'll be safe." My dad said to me. "I will," I replied while smiling. "Just to be sure, me and your father bought two things,"
Mom pulled out two items. "We got you pepper spray." She held up a small bottle. I mentally face palmed.
"And a taser." She then held up a taser. "(M/n)! She doesn't need a taser!" My dad scolded. "Well you never know." She defended.
"Okay! I will take the pepper spray if that makes you happy." I grabbed the pepper spray from mom. "Great!" Mom smiled.
"We should get going." Alejandra reminded me. "Right! Let's go," I ran over to my parents and embraced them in a tight hug.
"Bye guys!" I waved, getting into the car with Alejandra. I started the car and began driving.
"So what are we going to do?" Alejandra asked. "Well, first we have to unpack everything at our new house, then I have to visit my big bro." I explained to her.
"K," She simply replied.
~ Short Time Skip ~
I hopped out of the car, excited to see our new home. I stood in front of the rather large house and stared at it in awe. It was absolutely gorgeous.
"Come on, we need to set up the computer so we can order furniture," Alejandra grabbed my arm.
I nodded. "I'll go grab a box," I opened the back of the car and grabbed the first box I saw.
I opened the box to see what was inside. "Hmm, Alejandra's weird fan art." I quickly closed the box, being very disturbed.
I walked over to Alejandra, who was now talking to a girl with black hair and hazel eyes. Must be our neighbor.
"(Y/n)! This is Aphmau, our new neighbor." Alejandra introduced me to the girl. "Hey," I waved. She smiled brightly. "Do you guys need any help with unpacking?"
I shook my head. "No, we should be good," I said. "Okay, if you need anything, I live right over there," She pointed to a beautiful house. "Okay, thanks!" Alejandra waved as the girl left.
"I already love it here!" I said happily. "Same," Alejandra smiled.
I could get use to this.
