There is a reason why I don't celebrate my birthday. Something happened a few hundred years ago. Something having to do with my former eve.

*flashback*

"Ash come on!"

"You're such a pain you know that Tessary."

"Oh Ash I love you too!"

"Oi! Where did you hear the words 'I love you Tess' anywhere in what I just said!"

Tessary giggled, "you just said it Ash."

"I did no... Damn you Tess!"

Tessary broke into laughter so intense that she fell to the floor, her loose midnight blue skirts flowing around her like a deep dark ocean. Her laughs made me laugh too. I could never seem to resist joining her when she giggled like this. It was just too cute. We were both laughing so hard that I didn't notice when HE walked up behind my bestfriend/girlfriend until i could see his short sword sticking from the middle of her chest.

"Tess!"

"Ash! it's okay. I'm gonna be fine. I may die but I will see you again through different eyes but the same soul. You'll know it's me when you and my new self fall in love with each other as deeply as we have now. I love you Ash... I'll see you later my catigator."

I cried until I noticed that my voice was not working and my tears were not flowing. I looked up to find that HE was gone. I'll kill him someday maybe not today but someday.

I got up and buried my love in the cold, unforgiving earth... you wanna know what the best part was? The whole reason we were out was that Tessary had insisted we go out for my birthday. Because of my god forsaken birthday my eve...best friend and lover was dead...because of me.
