That night, Misaki was lying down on her bed and staring at the ceiling above her. She thought of Kai's sudden confession from earlier, and she blushed.

Misaki hid her face with a pillow, she sighed.

Suddenly she remembered the two boys, Kai and Naoki. Both had taken a liking to her, and she fell for the former. Toshiki Kai.

Naoki Ishida though, she thought of him as her friend and someone like a little brother.

She remembered about Naoki's meeting with her for tomorrow, and she didn't just want to decline, Naoki must've been waiting for that to happen.

So, Misaki sat and took her phone. She called Kai.

"Hello," Kai had answered her.

"Kai, you must go with me tomorrow." Misaki immediately said.

"What? Isn't tomorrow your date with Ishida?"

"I know! It's just that…"

"What?"

"Kai listen to me, I've got a plan. And both you and Ishida are involved in it." She explained.

"What is it then?" Kai asked.

Misaki sighed before telling her whole plan to Kai.

"So you want to have a date with both me and Ishida? What are you even thinking, Tokura?"

"This is the only way, Kai! I can't decline Ishida's request and I can't just let you-"

"Let me what?"

Misaki realized what she was about to say. 'I can't just let you be left out because I like you too?'

"Misaki…" Then she heard Kai's voice say her first name, she blushed at that and felt fluttered.

"W-what is it, Kai?"

She heard Kai sighed through the phone, "All right… I'll do it."

Misaki couldn't help but to smile and feel happy, "Thank you, Kai!"

"Hn." Kai then ended the call.

Misaki sighed in relief and searched through her phone to call Naoki.

"Hello? Misaki-senpai?"

"Hey Ishida, this is about tomorrow…" Misaki spoke.

"W-what about it, Senpai?" Naoki asked.

"I'll go with you," she replied.

"Really?! T-that's great!"

"But Ishida… I have one condition." Misaki said.

"What is it?"

Misaki sighed and cleared her throat before speaking, "We'll go with Kai."

Then she heard Naoki yell, "What?! N-no way! Kai will get angry at me again! Also, wouldn't he decline that?!"

"No, I already talked to him earlier. He said it's all right."

"Then… it's settled." Naoki spoke, "All right. We'll see each other tomorrow at the park. Bring Kai along okay?"

Misaki nodded, "Thank you Ishida!"

"Also Senpai…"

"Yes, Ishida?"

"I- I like you."

Misaki was taken aback by Naoki's words, she gasped in surprise. "Are- are you serious, Ishida?"

"Y-yeah, but… but if you don't feel the same, it's okay. I know it's surprising for you."

"Ishida…"

"I- I'm sorry Senpai!"

"No, I have something to say to you." Misaki smiled. "Ishida, I like you too okay? But only as a friend, you're like a brother to me. And, I'm sorry that I can't feel the same as you do."

Naoki chuckled, "Well, I was kinda expecting that! By the way I gotta go, see you tomorrow with Kai!"

The call ended and Misaki looked at her phone, she sighed once again and smiled to herself.

"Okay, time to prepare for tomorrow!"
