Chapter 20

Abbegail’s P.O.V.

“Just stay calm ma’am. Everything is going to be all right. Deep breathes.”

In. out. In. out. In. out. I need to call Liam. I hang up with 911 and call him.

“Abbegail is something wrong. You’re calling in the middle of the night.”

“Liam…. My water broke. I'm going into labor.”

“Oh my. I’ll be there in 3 hours. I’ll tell dad. I’ll tell the whole family. They will be so excited. You need to stay calm though. Did you call 911?”

“Yea. They’re on their way.”

The ambulance arrives and I feel a little relieved.

Liam’s P.O.V.

 Abbegail’s about to have her baby. I don’t want to wake the others since it is 3 in the morning. I’ll just leave a note and then slip out of the house.

Dear Lads,

               Abbegail called me in the middle lf the night to say she had to go to the hospital. I don’t know how long I will be but I will keep you all informed. She isn’t feeling all that great. She needs me right now and I can’t just leave her there by herself.

That should do it. Now to call dad and the family. Hope they don’t mind it’s in the middle of the night.

“Hey dad, are you busy right now?”

“Well yea. I mean it’s the middle of the night son. Whats so important that it cant wait till morning?”

“Abbegail is in labor. She's going to the hospital right now.”

“Reallly?!?! That’s exciting! We will be there as soon as we can. Does she still live in London?”

“No she moved out to Paris. 3 hours away from London. Bye dad.”

I hang up and finish getting into the car to drive all the way to Paris. I hope she's ok. I mean I’ve heard that having a baby is really painful and hard work. I think I need some coffee, I'm thinking too much.

“Hello. I'm here to see Abbegail Clark. She went into labor early this morning. I'm her brother.”

“She's on the 4th floor room 6.”

“Thank you ma’am.”

I walk up to the room and I knock on the door lightly.

“Abbe. You awake?”

“Yea I didn’t know when you would be here.”

“I came as fast as I could. I wouldn’t miss hanging out with you for the world. I called dad and they’re coming as soon as they can.”

6 hours later

“Will you all please step out of the room. I need room so I can do my job.” The doctor informs us motioning us out of the room.

“I guess in a few minutes we can see if it is a boy or girl. Abbegail left before she was far enough along to know for sure. for all we know she could be having twins.

Abbegail’s P.O.V.

Thank god that is over. Holding this baby in my arms is the best feeling in the world. I wish Niall could be here to see this. the baby looks exactly like him in so many ways. The baby was born 3 weeks and one day earlier than the expected but the baby is as healthy as they can be. My dad and all of my siblings that I have never met in my life came to support me. They are the best family I could ever have wished for. Once the doctor leaves to give me some time with my child before the nurses have to take the baby to get cleaned up, my family walks back in.

“Hey guys, guess what? The baby’s a girl!”

The biggest grin appears on my face as I say this to the family that I always dreamed of having.

Sorry this one is short. I didn’t exactly know how to spread this one out without scaring half of my readers away in the process. You guys better be glad I posted another chapter today. I'm ready to get this book over with so I can start on my other book. Since I did say last chapter that I would give you guys some insight on my next one. Here ya go!
