He wakes up/first kiss

It had been 3 weeks since you saved Altair, and he was showing no signs of waking up soon. You kept hope though. You held his hand, and whispered sweet nothings to him, hoping he could hear them.

"Wake up My white prince, I can't imagine a world without you In it anymore, please," you voice cracked at the last part, your eyes watered, and you began to silently cry, now losing all your hope.

"Don't cry, Princess," He said, hoarsely and quietly, he also gripped your hand. You looked up and saw him looking at you with half lidded eyes. You sobbed, smiled, and gently threw yourself into him. You wrapped your arms around him, and began to cry happily. He returned the feature and began to hum.

"Don't scare me like that again, jerk," you said. He chuckled. You pulled back, the last of your tears till falling down your face. He wiped them away, and then connected his lips to yours. It filled with love, happiness, and relief. You pulled back and smiled.

"What happened to you?" You asked.

"I was running from the gaurds after my assassination and apparently I caught caught by a few of them," he said. You kissed him again.

"Be careful from now on," You said. The nurses came in and saw him awake. They told him he was on bed rest for a week, and left again.

"Oh and (name)," he began. You turned to him. "I can't imagine world without you either," you smiled.

"You heard that," you said. He nodded.

"Every word you said, I wanted to say or do something, but I couldn't do that for some reason, I could only listen," He said. " I am kinda tired though, I wasn't really asleep after all,".

You smiled when you saw him fall asleep, this time, actually alive. You laid next to him, and used his chest as a pillow as fell into the most peaceful sleep you've had in weeks.
