The Bad Boy Next Door

Notes chapter 4

"THE BUS IS ALREADY ON OUR STREET GET YOUR BUTT UP AND GET DRESSED!!" Omg I slept in shoot! I threw on leggings and a sweatshirt and ran out the door. The bus was at our stop! Thank God I didn't miss it! I don't want to drive to school. But truth is I really don't want to go to school.

I actually thought maybe I had a chance! Matt would help me! Now I know he's a player and never cared for me at all. He blow off our date......I MEAN MOVIE to make out with his ex girlfriend. What the heck is wrong with him?! What a player!

"Who's a player?" The one and only Amanda asked. She moved to my seat JUST LIKE SHE DID BEFORE WHEN SHE ACCUSED ME OF STEALING HER EX! I rolled my eyes and just realized I was talking my thoughts out loud. Oops!

"No one never mind."

"Hmmmm please tell!"

"And why in the world would I tell you?"

"Nevermind I know your talking about Matt and how we are dating again!"

She smirked and left the seat very pleased with herself. While me still shell shocked. Again. Now hes dating her?!?!? WOOPY! (act of sarcasm)

Is he really going out with her?

I thought he hated her?

Hmmmm I dont think I can answer these questions. Only one person can and thats Matt. I needed to find him. I needed to talk to him. I want to know whats really going on.

When I got to school I went straight to my locker. I wanted to get to class with time to spare.

When I opened my locker I noticed there was three slips of folded paper. Each one saying 'Beth' in sloppy letters. I stuffed them in my pocket and left for class.

"EVERYONE TAKE A SEET!!" The teacher boomed throughout the classroom. I ran up to him quickly "ummm sir.." "YES WHAT IS IT!!!!!?" "Ummm can I go to the bathroom...?" "hurry back, hurry back!"

When I left the class room I ran as fast as I could to the nearest exit. I didn't want any teachers to know its me.

When I found a perfect spot of fluffy grass I plopped down and took the notes out if my pocket.

Hey Beth we need to talk A.S.A.P meet me at soccer field at 2:00

I didnt really care about Amanda's note but what I really cared about was why I'm the world was I getting notes from so many people. Well 3people but still. Its a lot for me.

I looked at the big clock tower. 2:35.

Shoot.

I ran to the soccer field as fast as I could but along the way I kept thinking this was a bad idea. Maybe it was. Maybe it wasn't. Maybe it would help explain things. Maybe it would hurt me more.

When I got there Matt was sitting under the goalie net with the sun shinny on his face.

"Hey." I said as I sat down with no emotion. "I thought you would never show." "well here I am." I said back. "So get on with it, what do you want to tell me." He was a bit shocked but then his shocked face turned to a frown.

"Amanda."

"AMANDA WHAT?!" -I yelled back angry rising inside me of the moment he kissed her.

"I loved her once...........I thought she was the one...... Everyday we would hang out. Eat ice cream, ice skate, practically anything you could think off we did.....together. Then one night I took her to her first party. I thought she was ready to handle it but Oh how i was wrong! She danced with random men, got drunk.....she just couldn't handle it. Ever since then shes been a snob, using people for fun. Taking advantage of the things people care about."

He was starting at me the whole tine he said it but I didn't stare back. When he was done I looked over my shoulder looking at the trees with sadness in his gleaming green eyes but he still went on.....

"I felt like nothing anymore and i wanted to feel something. I ket her kiss me. I kissed her. I know I never should have done it but I felt like there was nothing to loose..... but truly there is something to loose......"

"I...I....I" I tried to speak but no words came out. I could only manage the word "I". He rapped an arm around me and pulled me closer to him. "Im sorry." he said. "For what?" I asked confused. " For blowing off our-" "Stop!" I yelled in a whisper. "Stop, you had a reason Its ok. Really it is." "but-" "NO BUTS MR.!"

"I have an idea!" I told him. His face lit up with a smile shinny as bright as the sun. "I can help you get a new girlfriend!" "Really? You would do that for me?" he asked "We are friends!"I replied "Thanks, Beth." "No problem!"

"So when do we start?" I asked him.

"Its a surprise."
