I am Lois, lois omorogbe. I am a Nigerian and am fat. Being fat and a Nigerian is awesome but it sucks when you have been transferred from an all girls school to a mixed school.
I was always prepared for the nasty mean girls at school but facing boys was another thing. As I wore my new uniform I never felt so uncomfortable in my own body. The stares I got were nasty as I walked to the bus stop, you'll think I'll be used to them by now. I have always been blunt so I was eagerly waiting for any one to bullshit me about my weight and I looked at the crowd of students entering the bus. They didn't seem to mind me. I picked my favorite sit in the bus next to the window of course with the breeze in my hair and everything.
"Hey am Austin" he sat next to making himself comfortable. He was cute and a dark boy with dimples and obviously confident. I don't know if he was waiting for a reply I just turned my face.
"I see you are a new student and a shy too... well I'll go first am Austin Olu lived in American just came back to Nigeria. Am the class president and I'll like to know you"
"Oh stop that Austin, you lie too much" she looked me " Austin's never been out o this city talk less of abroad.... Hi am titi, what's your name?"
" Lois" I don know why I answered, they seemed so cool I promised not to have friends after my previous drama at Bells high school, why am I doing this.
"so you answered her and not me abi?" Austin cried as him and titi started a little argument of how he oozed danger.
The bus finally came to a halt and so did titi and Austin.
"I'll show you around, you'll love our school" titi beamed as she took my hand
I stepped down and I was stunned, the school was truly underrated. The grasses were fake ( carpet grass) and beautiful trees were seen through the gate as I walked towards it. We passed the gate we our ids
" if you don't have an ID you can't do anything here, btw our school doesn't have a curfew if you come late you end up in the later comers class that's embarrassing enough"
