Eddsworld au story: A Grave Begininng (Don't read this it sucks lol)

Chapter 1: Uncollected

Venom P.O.V.

          "Something." his last words were as he closed his eyes, and died. The man, or "Eduardo" I think is what his name is, cried into his bloody chest. I waited for the guy's soul to appear, and when it did, it vanished before I could even move a finger. I stared in confusion. I can't go back empty handed, so I searched the entire country for his soul. Nothing. "Where the hell is it? Souls can't just vanish into thin air. Can they?" I ponder to myself as I collect the soul of a woman who died of a heart attack. All these souls and I still don't have the one River wants. River, both the element of death and my boss. He has his little henchmen who are the main reasons people die or make their lives living nightmares (ex: Jack, the element of suicide). They don't kill people, River does, they just help them. And what am I, you may ask? I am a soul collector. When someone dies, their soul leaves their bodies, and soul collectors, well, collect them and take them to River and his henchmen, a.k.a., the negative elements. They decide what happens to a soul, they send it to the heavens, archive it, or shatter it. If a soul becomes archived, it stays in the dimension of the dead, which is what happened to me when I died. If a soul gets sent to the heavens, well, they get sent to heaven. But if shattered, the person goes to hell souless and get put through an eternity of torture and labor. I put the woman's soul into my bag and teleport to the dimension of the dead, where I have a group of friends waiting for me. There are four in total, and we like to call ourselves "Demon Squad" since we're all demons. I'm actually not sure why we're demons, I think it might have something to deal with us being a group off friends or some shit, I don't know.

No one P.O.V.

       Four people wait for Venom outside of the dwelling of the negative elements, one male, two females, and one toaster? 

      Marie, a nine year old girl from France back in the days of when the Renaissance first ended. She is practically a walking talking corpse, since parts of her body are either gone, exposed, or rotting. She has white hair the length of her shoulders and wears a grey dress that is torn in certain areas, one eye that has a purple eye color, purple freckles, and purple dog ears(?). Due to her having abusive parents, she was burned to death at the age of nine. 

    Maddie, an infamous nineteen year old murderer from Puerto Rico and lives illegally in the U.S. She also happens to be a neko (I know it sounds cringy but bear with me.) Quite frankly, she hasn't died yet. The only reason she's a demon is because she preformed a lot of satanic rituals and basically bugged Satan until he gave her what she wanted. But due to getting her powers before death, she lacks half the abilities that demons can do. Her hair is dark brown and goes down to her thighs, a gold color eye and another eye with a spiral pattern a white button up shirt with a black vest, a torn apron tied around her hips that she wrote in sharpie that says "Psycho" written on it with a bit of blood on the torn ends, crimson pants, and a black and white stripped top hat with a red ribbon and a stitched pink heart on it that her mother gave to her as a child. 

    Danny, the child of a puppeteer in the 1400's. Their color scheme contains mostly of dark greens and grays. They seem to be naked, except for a gray mask that seems to be smiling and a cloak that only covers up their torso that is dark gray with a bow tie on it with a skull in the center. While Danny is naked without the cloak, they have no genitalia. Since Danny was originally going to be born a boy, but their was a mistake making their soul, hence why they don't have any genitalia. They also have dark green skin with markings with shades of green and gray around their body, with gray hair slightly darker than his mask. His death, seems to be the least brutal. There was a storm while in their father's workshop, and when thunder struck, they fell off the stool they were on and their father's puppet strings got tangled around their throat, choking themself to death. 

     Then there's Robin. His is 11, but he seems to be the sassiest and bitchiest out of everyone on demon squad. He's used to be an angel, but due to being corrupted by demons, he became one and kept his angel features. He has ragged brown hair, copper brown freckles, one of his eyes bandaged up for unknown reasons, a purple-grayish angel cloak that is torn to an extremely short length, brown angel wings that he can no longer use to fly due to them having holes in them, a black choker necklace with a moon charm, a halo that sinks onto his head, and a shackle on his left ankle. He died in Britain in the 1920's of measles. 

    And their leader venom, a fifteen year old ghost girl. There isn't to much to her design, she's a thin grey figure with black hair, ruby red eyes, and six square teeth, three teeth in each row and no mouth. She looks like the hybrid of something out of a horror movie and a my little pony (Trust me, my oc's designs are better than they sound, especially Maddie's and Venom's). Her death, well, she was run over by a car at the age of five. End of story.

Venom P.O.V.

       I walk up to my friends as they greet me outside the dwelling. "Hi, Venom!" Marie exclaims with a smile on her face, like always. "Did you get that soul?" Robin asks looking at my bag, "You know, the one River wants?" "Unfortunately, no. It disappeared before I could even move!" I explain as Robin gets an annoyed look. "Let's hope River won't loose his cool! Or else Venom's a goner!'' Maddie laughs as Danny punches her. "Maddie, don't we don't want Ciel to hear or else!" They warn. Ciel is the element of bad luck, and he loves jinxing people, so we have to be careful what we say around him. "Well, wish me luck." I say as I enter the dwelling. I'm hoping River might understand.
