Chapter 5: Hauntings, Funerals, and Blood in the Water

No one P.O.V.

       "You want to what?" River asks confused as Venom slams her hands on his desk. "I want to sign up for hauntings again! I want to give that asshole Eduardo a taste of his own medicine!" Venom angrily states. A big smile grows across River's face. "Why didn't you just say so? To be honest, we all hate him. Except Harry. Apparently Harry sees the good in everyone." It's true, Harry, the element of deadly diseases, doesn't like seeing people suffer and is basically one of those "everyone deserves a second chance" people. River hands Venom a paper. "Just sign here and you can begin the haunting whenever you like," he smirks. Venom signs her name on that paper in a heartbeat. Before River could say another word, Venom storms out his office. She's starting her hauntings as soon as possible. "I hope you're enjoying you're life now, Eduardo. Because once I come , I guarantee I will make your life a living HELL," Venom angrily mutters to herself as she heads towards the surface. Her hatred for Eduardo was so deep, she would even shatter her own soul to make sure he suffers.

Edd P.O.V.

       Even though Eduardo and I never really got along, I couldn't help but feel bad for him today. I've never seen him so depressed in my life. Not to mention, every time I saw him with Jon, he treated him like garbage. But I guess deep down, he really cared about him. Every time I looked at Eduardo during the funeral, I couldn't help but think he looks more depressed than the last time I looked at him. I just stop staring and focus on the alter server, but then I see Jon's corpse lying in the casket. His eyes closed, his face emotionless. I remember how Jon was, always cheerful and full of life, even though he could be a jerk when he wanted to be. Now he lay dead, killed by Tord. I look over to Tom and Matt. Matt sat there looking sorry for Eduardo and Mark, and Tom drank from his flask looking bored, obviously not caring. I elbow Tom. "Tom, show some respect! Jon died and you're acting like you don't care! At least show some sympathy for Eduardo and Mark!" I angrily whisper to him. Even though Mark doesn't look upset by Jon's passing, probably because he's trying to cover up his sadness, I told Tom to show sympathy anyway. Tom rolls his eyes. "Fine," He whispers back. He takes his flask over to Mark. "You've been through a lot with Jon's passing and all, want some?" I facepalm. That's not what I meant. I could tell by the look on his face Mark doesn't know weither to be confused or disgusted. He just signals that he wouldn't like any. Tom passes his flask to Eduardo. "You've been through a lot. Want some?" Tom asks. Eduardo takes the flask. "I've got nothing to loose anyway," he mutters under his breath as he gulps down the Whisky in Tom's flask.

No one P.O.V.

       The ceremony went pretty slow. Everyone said their final goodbyes, and they eventually buried Jon. Eduardo stands at Jon's grave, tears coming down his face.

Venom P.O.V.

       The ceremony was boring as hell. I'm so glad it ended or I would've died a second time. I'm in a tree nearby Jon's grave as I see Eduardo stumble over to Jon's grave. I couldn't tell if he was drunk or if he was weakened from crying so much. It was hard to tell. He falls to his knees and starts to bawl his eyes out. "J-jon, I'm s-so s-orry," Eduardo blurted, with a bit of a slur in his voice. Of course he's drunk, why wouldn't he be? "It-it should've *hic* been m-me," he drunkly sobs. I've seen enough. I go over to him, and whisper those four words into his ear, "It's all your fault." He stops. "Why are you bawling like a little bitch? You've wanted him dead for so long, and you got what you asked for. Why are you mourning his death?!" I snarled. He puts his hands over his head. "I'M SORRY!" he screams, tears streaming down his face. I scowl as I see how pathetic he's acting. As I'm about to strike, I see Mark. "Hey, Eddie, we're about to leave," he calmly says. Eduardo gets up, and I say one more thing to him, "This isn't the end Eduardo. I will come back. I am your worst nightmare. And I'm gonna make your life living hell!"

I am gonna continue this au series, but in different fanfics. And I might do side stories and oneshots. Either way I hope you enjoyed the beginning of this au series!
