chapter 4

Andy’s POV
I had said that Ariel was the only one I would talk to. I regretted it a bit when I realised how she would react, I hadn’t been thinking straight. I had pulled my sweater up before anyone could come over to me so they couldn’t see the cut in my neck that I think is still bleeding. My hand wasn’t quite as easy to hide, but he didn’t get to cut into it too deeply so I just kept my hands down. The fact that I somehow got a black eye from the whole thing, I truly couldn’t remember how, oh well I couldn’t do anything about hiding that. I quickly re-adjusted my collar to make sure the cut was hidden, when Ariel burst in the room before saying something to the principal and walking unusually calmly over to me. “Andy? Can you tell me who did this too you?” she said quietly.. “I-uh-I.. Well.” I managed between sobs, trying to wipe my tears and calm myself down. “I-It wasn’t my fault… I didn’t mean for it to happen,” my breathing hitched a little. “I d-don’t know what happened… I think I’m going crazy Ariel… I’m sorry” I sobbed. “I didn’t mean to do that to h-him. Even if he was a-about to k-kill me.” I dissolved into silent tears, I wasn’t going to talk again. Not for a little while. ~ I lowered my hands, seeing a crumpled Darrian feet in front of me, and an almost indent in the wall beside the doors. I shakily pulled up my sweater, hiding the cut and hopefully stopping up some of the blood, and pulled down the sleeves on my hand. Before I too slowly crumpled to the floor and everything went black. ~ I woke up with the principal, nurse, and a couple kids standing around me. They helped me up and I was lead to the principal's office, I think I was crying. I didn’t look at any of the other kids, or the ambulance outside.
