I'm going to confess one thing, I've spent the last two hours typing this so it's probably filled with mistakes/typos right now. I'll fix them later, I don't feel like working on this anymore -- but I wanted to send it to you today, if you don't mind.

Dedicated to EviganLover87 for commenting on the last chapter, thank you so much. ^.^

Chapter Three:

Chocolate Pudding

Seeing her again, for what? The tenth time? And that’s just today. Her eyes would dart away from mine, and she’d blush. Could it be that the cute new girl wants me? No, surely not. Angel-face doesn’t seem like the type who would like inny’s and not outy’s – as my mom would call them growing up. She’s probably blushing at Chris, because he’s right behind me. But what’s up with the eye-connection? But that’s probably a fantasy of mine that somehow got mixed up into my horrible reality that is called my life.

Lissa is at my side, holding a lunch tray. The only thing pilled on it is sweets, the girl eats nothing healthy. Never has. At least not since I’ve known her. How the insane ginger stays in shape, is beyond me. I just assume she has an EXTREMELY amazing metabolism. Chris is walking behind us, with his friend Austin. Austin is really close to Chris. Even though Austin is basically the opposite of us. He’s not exactly popular but he is really into sports. He’s really good at sports too, but it’s not like he’s number one or anything. Honestly if anyone is number one in my school, it would probably be Derek Blackwood. Derek is your average douche, but he has an amazing social life and he’s amazing at every sport I’ve seen him play. Probably the best player on every team too. Now if I cared about sports at all, I’d probably be jealous. But I’m not. I’m not even the type to get jealous over something like that.

“What are you looking at?” Lissa asked, taking my attention away from my thoughts.

My eyes shifted from Tessa to Lissa. “N-nothing!” Did I just stutter? That’s totally not like me. Hopefully Lissa won’t notice.

“Were you looking at the new girl?” Lissa stepped in front of me, stopping me from walking. Ugh. Can’t we just go sit down?

“No.” I glared at her and just by my expression, it made Lissa back off. I quickly walked around her and made a getaway to our table in the back of the cafeteria. Our table was right where I liked it, out of everyone’s way.

Plopping down into my seat, and Lissa joining me not even a second later. Austin joins us, with Chris sitting next to him. The way Austin looks at Lissa makes me think he has a crush on her. He has these wide sparkly green eyes, which remind me of a puppy. He really shouldn’t have a thing for Lissa, he has a girl friend. His girl friend is a girl named Kara, and believe me she’s a bitch. So if Austin breaks her heart to be with Lissa. And if Kara finds out that he left her to be with Lissa, and Kara goes after Lissa, I swear I will beat the living shit out of him. I don’t want Lissa to get hurt in any way possible.

“You two keep playing games with your eyes.” Lissa giggles, taking a bite of a chocolate-chip cookie she picked up from her tray. So she brings the elephant back into speaking, and I’d rather not talk about the elephant in the room.

“What makes you say that?’ I smirk and shift my eyes over to Alley Jensen. Her eyes are on me, but that’s nothing new since she has a crush on me. She flips her curly brown hair over her shoulder and makes this really weird-awkward looking face, it’s like she’s trying to seduce me or something. I let a chuckle escape my lips and look back at Lissa.

“You look at her, she looks away. She looks at you, you look away.” Her eyes are directly on Angel-face and I know that without looking in the direction.
