"Can't I wear something else, Anything else?" I asked my mother. I was hoping she wouldn't make me got to this wedding and I was hoping if she made me go I wouldn't have to wear a dress.

"No!" My mother shouted back. I wasn't going to give up, I really hate wearing dresses and she wasn't gonna make me wear one.

"Bain, Stop whining and put on the god damn dress" My mother sternly said pointing to the dress on my bed.

"Ughhh, No" I complained. I knew deep down I would end up wearing that dress but I still had to put up a fight to see if there was any hope.

"Put on the dress NOW!! We are leaving in a half an hour and you still need to get your hair and makeup done." My mother tells me. I groan and right before I could protest some more she walks away. I groan again then walk over to my bed. I star down at the black dress, It is nice but I'm not a dress person.

I went back over and shut my door a little harder then I intended. I walked back over to my bed and stared down at the dress some more. I then decided I might as well get dressed. I slid my jeans down my legs then my top over my head, I left my bra and underwear on. I picked up the dress from my bed and undid the zipper at the back, I reached down and put my feet through the opening. I grabbed the top of the dress and pulled it up my body, I stopped when it was in place then stuck my arms through the holes. I walked back over to my door and opened it up.

"Mom" I called loud enough for her to hear.

"Yes?" She called back.

"Can you do up this dress?" I asked and I could hear her door open. Only a few seconds later I saw my mother walking my way smiling as she looked at me.

"You look beautiful." She told me. I faked a smile to her. I really can't stand dressing up for thing, I would rather wear my jeans instead of shirts or dresses. My mother went behind me and I grabbed all of my hair in my hand and moved it away. I felt a shiver as her cold finger grabbed the zipper and did up the dress. It was a short black strapless dress that was half way down my thigh.

"Ok now sit down. We only have 18 minutes left till we have to go so lets do your hair." My mother said. I nodded and sat down on a chair. My mothre left and came back a few minutes after. She came back with a curler in her hand.

My mother curled the ends of my hair and pinned my bangs back, suprisingly I liked it. After my hair she did my makeup. I have a little masquara and some eye liner on. I have blush, foundation and eye shadow on aswell, I have a little lip stick and a small bit of lip gloss. I am not wearing a lot of makeup but less then I usally would. My mother always tells me to wear less makup because I wear so much eyeliner, masquara and lip stick but I just ignore her.

"Ok, we have a few minutes left so put on your heels and grab your purse and lets go." My mother said excitingly. She was so exited to see one of her good friends get married. I could less though, I liked Denise, she was nice but I am not into weddings. I have never met her fiance soon to be husband but my mother has once. Denise talks about him so much and it gets annoying after a while but everytime she talks about Greg,I think that's his name, her face would like up just by his name. Ugh stupid cheesy romantic crap.

I grabbed my heels from the floor and slipped them on one at a time. After they were on I stood up and I almost fell over, It was hard to walk in heels. Well for me at least it was. I walked around for a bit to get used to them but I don't think I will. I grabbed my purse and my phone from my bed and made my way downstairs. I turned my phone on while I was walking down the steps and I saw I had 3 new texts. 2 were from Megan and the last one was from Chris. Megan and Chris were my best friends, Megan is the same age as me while Chris is a year older. Chris is 18 while Megan and I are 17 years old.
