Authors note: this one is 100% real. I lived in a house on Minot afb North Dakota from 4th-6th grade and it terrifies me because right after my best friend Samantha moved in that house. She said the same exact things you are about to read happened or her. I will never go back to that house

We had motion sensor lights in our house in every hallway. This was so if you got up and it was late, you could see. It was 5:00, the time my stepdad usually got home. I heard a door open downstairs and heard "Kaylyn I'm home." Like he did everyday. I was doing laundry in my room when I heard creaking up the stairs. I figured my step dad was home and was trying to scare me so I wanted to scare him first. I hid behind my door and I saw the light go off in the hall. I smiled and jumped out and screamed "Got cha!" There was nothing there. Immediately after that I hear "Kaylyn, I'm home."
