"Ana come on!" I heard Kate yelling from outside of my bedroom rushing me to hurry out so that we could make it in time for our big performance at The Mile High Club. This could be our big break, so I didn't need to fuck this up for us. We were pretty big in Portland, but now this performance would be in Seattle and I needed to make a great impression on the crowd because it was known for celebrities and producers to be in the crowds.

I checked myself one more time in the mirror. I looked hot in my tight cut off black shorts paired with some black tights and boots as well as a black long-sleeved crop top. My hair was curled and fluffed out. I had eyeliner and mascara on to give me the smoky eyed wild child look and light pink lip gloss for some color. I grabbed my leather jacket and my guitar case and made my way out the door.

Kate was standing there looking nervous as ever. She looked up at me and tried to give me a smile, but I could see right through her. "Kate, do not be nervous. I understand we're pretty much in the big leagues now but with you on bass and singing back up, we're sure to win," I said to her throwing her a big smile as a sign of comfort. I could see relaxation take over her as she nodded, and we made our way out the house. The rest of the band was already outside in the bus we purchased the day we formed the band.

"Hey, girlies!" our drummer, Angelina, called out to us from the window. "Hey Ang!" Kate and I called out in unison. Patrick, our lead male singer/lead male guitarist ran up to us to grab our guitar cases and place them in the back of the bus.

"You girls ready?" He asked smiling down at us.

Patrick was adorable. He might as well be my little brother. We get mistaken for siblings all the time anyways with our similar powder blue eyes, brunette hair, and pale skin. We nodded and climbed onto the bus.

Everyone was already there:

Angelina and her girlfriend, Louisa, were sitting side by side canoodling. Tucker, our drummer, was asleep with headphones on and drool coming from his mouth. And our tech dude/DJ, Jamie- but everyone calls him Joker- was typing away at his laptop probably coming up with a new mix for a new song of ours.

I sat down next to Kate and just stared out into the darkness of Portland as we headed to Seattle. This is it. This was a make it or break it moment for us. And we had to make it. But little did I know, that night would change my life, as we as my band members' lives, forver.
