Coles p.o.v
We got to my house and my mom was watching TV
C- hey momma
T- hey sweetie oh hi you must be Lauren I've heard a lot about you
L- haha yes I'm Lauren its nice to meet you Mrs.pendery
T- nice to meet you too and please call me Teresa
L- are you sure
T- positive
L- ok
We sat down and they talked and got to know each other and she let her know
L- so I don't know of cole has told you but I have cancer
T- no actually he hasn't is that why you have been over there more than usual
C- yes I don't want to lose any time I have with her since I don't exactly know how long I will have
T- I'm so sorry it must be really rough
L- its a little weird but I'm slowly getting used to it
My mom nodded and looked at me and gave me a reassuring smile.
T- I was planning on ordering pizza and watching movies would you two be up for that
C- baby ?
L- sounds good to me
T- is star wars ok
L- better than ok
T- alright cole set the movie up and I'll order the pizza
C- yes mom
And that's exactly how our night went I had Lauren curled up next to me with a blanket over us and my mom was on the other side of me as we finished watching empire then I took her home
L- I love your mom she's really nice
C- haha yeah she's great and I wouldn't be surprised if she loves you too
L- well I'm a loveable person
C- yes yes you are
She looked up at me as I said that and I decided im not putting it off anymore. I wrapped my arms around her waist which she responded to quickly by putting her arms around my neck
C- I love you lauren
L- I love you too cole
And with that I leaned down and kissed her and it was a pretty long kiss one that Dalton didn't like very much cause the door opened
Dal- say goodnight Lauren
She pulled away and looked at me
L- goodnight cole
C- goodnight baby
I pecked her lips one more time before we let go of each other and she scurried off inside
C- well I should get going later dude
Dal- not so fast
I turned around to face him again and his arms were crossed as he leaned on the doorway
Dal- you two seem a lot closer
C- I guess we are in a way
Dal- just how fast is your relationship moving
C- not that fast I don't think
Dal- well tell me this is my sis still a virgin
C- yes we haven't slept together Dalton the only reason we were kissing like that is cause we just said I love you to each other
Dal- oh
C- yeah
I looked down cause this was kinda awkward and he seemed to feel the same.
Dal- umm I guess I should let you go now
C- thanks I'll see you tomorrow
Dal- alright later dude
C- later
And with that he closed the door and I went home still trying to shake off the awkwardness. Just as I expected my mom loves Lauren which was good. I laid in bed texting Lauren until she fell asleep and it wasn't long after that I fell asleep as well.
