I was laying here just thinking and running my fingers through her hair as she slept with her head on my chest and honestly she looked really peaceful right now. I was almost asleep as well when she woke up and ran to the bathroom and I heard her throw up which made me sad. I checked that it was ok with her that I came in and she said yes so I went over to her and kneeled behind her rubbing her back and holding her hair back as she continued to throw up. A couple hours passed by the time she was done and cleaned up and was now crying in my arms
L- it hurts it hurts so much
C- I know baby I know
I rubbed little cirles on her stomach in hopes that would soothe it a bit.
L- I'm sorry baby
C- why are you sorry you've done nothing wrong
L- I'm keeping you up I know you would rather be sleeping instead of helping me
C- don't talk like that I don't care about sleep I care about you and you know I mean it

C- no no buts I'm fine staying awake and taking care of you because that's what people do for their loved ones

I kissed her forehead, nose, and cheeks which caused her to smile
C- let's get you back to bed sitting here on the floor isn't probably the best idea
L- you're probably right
I helped her up and carried her to the bed and laid down next to her and we ended up just talking till she fell asleep which I ended up doing the same once I knew she was comfy and had enough blankets on and was all set.
