Unexpected Visitor

We started headed towards the dining room.

We went in and saw father seating at the head of the table while Seiran was putting the plates.

We head towards our seat and waited till everyone is settled down before we start to eat.

Time skip

After we finish eating Shuurei and I went out with Seiran to go to our work.

We first headed towards the temple Shuurei and I teach so that the kids could be the ones to be able to fulfill our dream of becoming a governor to be able to help the country, since women are not allowed to take the test.

After that we headed towards our next job with Seiran carrying our erhu.

We were playing the erhu when we suddenly were pulled aside by Seiran saying our father asked us to head home immediately.

Shuurei was fuming with anger at father for pulling us out during the middle of our job that we had only been paid a little.

Once we reach the house we notice that there was a fancy carriage at the front gate.

"We're home." We shouted, but there was no reply.

We headed towards the Dining hall since that's where we greet our guest and since that's the way the voices came from.

"We're home." Shuurei and I said once we open the door to the dining room.

"Welcome home Shuurei, Rose and Seiran." Father said looking towards us with a smile.

We were greeted with grand advisor Sho holding a cup with a bucket beside him laughing awkwardly.

Shuurei and I were sheathing with anger.

Father tried to explain to us as to why he was serving well water to advisor Sho.

"FATHER!" Shuurei and I shouted

In the end big sister and I were asked to be a temporary Imperial consort, so that we can help motivate his royal highness into doing his job.

Of course we didn't agreed but when the advisor said something about a reward money shuurei accepted immediately making also accept the offer as well.

I went to where I saw a cherry blossom tree while I was wondering around awhile ago with the basket that contained the food.

I place the basket of food down at the table before heading towards the tree.

I look up and tried reaching for some cherry blossom but I couldn't reach it.

I didn't give up though and still tried to reach for some petals only stopping when I heard a voice behind me.

"Do you need some help?" the person asked

I turned around to find a handsome young man standing there staring at me with his hair flowing behind him.
