Her feet edged closer to the stool on which she stood, threatening to tip at any moment. Clarke cried, her hands and ankles bound.

"Mom. Please don't do this. Alie, don't kill her!" Clarke begged, tears streaming from her grey blue eyes.

"Alie's not killing me Clarke. You are." Abby said in a monotone voice. She didn't look sympathetic, instead, her face was cold and unforgiving, willing to anything for the woman in red, Alie, beside her. Abigail Griffin stepped even closer to the edge. The thick rope around her neck tightened as the platform wobbled precariously below her. A sob escaped from Clarke's mouth.

"Do it. She'll break." Alie whispered. Only Abby could hear Alie, and she was under her control.

"Mom!"

Abby stepped off the edge of the platform. It shook and fell. She dangled in the air for a moment, her eyes locked on Clarke's.

"I'm sorry! I'm so, so sorry!" Clarke screamed at her mother. Abby was suffocating, wicked sounds escaping her open mouth as the rope continued to tighten under Abby's weight. Tears rolled down Clarke's cheeks and stung the slits her mother had slashed into her chest moments before, torturing her for the passcode that could shut down or increase the security of the City of Light.

The doors of the main room burst open, admitting Bellamy, Murphy and their soldiers. "Bellamy." Clarke whimpered.

"Clarke, it's Ok! it's Ok!" Bellamy attempted to console Clarke, but then he instantly noticed Abby's lifeless body dangling from a metal beam above. He ran towards Abby and hurriedly lifted her up.

"Murphy! Help me!" Bellamy shouted as John came to loosen the noose that had closed over Abby's trachea. The soldiers worked on Clarke's knots, freeing her hands, then her ankles. Abby collapsed on the floor when the noose loosened.

"Mom." Clarke sobbed, finally escaping her ropes and falling towards her mother who lay on the cold floor. Clarke pushed her shaking fingers onto Abby's throat, searching for a pulse. "Thank God." she whispered as she picked up the faint beating.

"She's alive, but only just." Clarke murmured. Ok, I've done this a million times. Clarke swallowed down her fears and began pushing hard into Abby's chest, forcing her heart to keep pumping. She pushed again and again, willing her mother to life. Finally, she felt her neck again. Her pulse was strong and rhythmic beneath her fingers.

"It's ok. She's back." Clarke sniffed, leaning over her mother, relief coursing through her veins, spreading through out her.

Bellamy and Murphy had left, standing guard by the doors as Clarke cradled her mother in her arms.

"Mom. I know you can hear me," she whispered. "God, I need you." Clarke's face was moist with tears and perspiration, and a mixture dripped from her cheek onto her mothers forehead. She quickly swiped it away.

Abby's eyes fluttered open, revealing the fright embedded deeply into the cinnamon. "Clarke." she sighed. She rose, Clarke helping her.

"Hey. It's ok."

"Clarke..." Abby's face clenched up as she remembered with great regret and pain her actions.

"No. No. God, don't cry." Abby clasped her hand to her mouth, her eyes squinting and revealing a flood of water that cascaded down her cheeks drop by drop. Fright and despair clouded her face, as well as anger and confusion, unaware of what she'd done under the influence of Alie. Clarke pulled her mothers head to her chest, stroking her hair and crying along with her mother.

Beside them lay a gun that Clarke had used to retrieve the Alie chip from her mother. Instead of hostility, her mother now showed vulnerability.

Bellamy and Murphy ran into the room, and trained their guns onto Abby.

"No!" Clarke shouted, pulling her mother into her, hiding her face and protecting her from the guns. "It's ok! She's fine." Bellamy and Murphy's gaze flicked to the used gun that lay beside Clarke and Abby.

"I thought you said we only had one shot with that thing!" Murphy shouted. Abby looked up.

"I told you, Ontari's brain dead. She's no longer an option for the Flame." Clarke explained, referring to the last nightblood who was the only valid candidate for the control chip, known as the 'Flame'.

"She was the only nightblood left!"

"I know."

"Well then how do you suppose we rescue everyone now?"

"I'll take the flame."

Abby clipped the final cords connecting Ontari and Clarke together.

"Ok." Clarke whispered, giving her mother the go ahead to start the transfusion of Ontari's nightblood with hers. The black blood seeped slowly through the tube, and finally reached Clarke. It flowed into her, and after five minutes, she felt she was ready for the Flame.

"Clarke. Are you sure about this? It could kill you." Questioned Abby, concern wiping itself across her face.

"It's the only way, mom."

They woke up. Every man, woman and child who had had the Alie chip administered. They reentered the world of the present, relieved from the City of Light.

Marcus Kane was the first to run into the building where Clarke, Abby, Bellamy and Murphy stood. He too had been chipped by force, threatened with the execution of Abby. He had taken the chip, in return for Abby's freedom from the gun that was pressed against her skull.

"Abby!" He cried, sprinting through the hall towards her. The brown haired woman turned and lit up when her brain registered the arrival of her unofficial boyfriend.

Abby ran towards Marcus, and they met halfway, Marcus wrapping his arms around Abby's shoulders, and Abby pulling Marcus closer around his waist.

"Thank God you're ok." Marcus sighed.

"You too." Abby whispered into Marcus's thick coat. She craned her neck to look into his green eyes. He looked down on her, and deciding that he didn't EVER want to lose her again, pushed his lips against hers.

A/N: Hey! So, I realised my addiction to the 100 was getting out of hand, so I decided to channel it into a brand new story!!! I'm super excited about this one, hopefully y'all are too!
This will basically be my take on season 4 of the 100, keeping in mind that it's still a play on season 3 at the beginning. So currently it's just been a varied version of the end of season 3, cut down a little and removed a few characters.

Anyways, Bye!!
