you were quick, beautiful yet dangerous
through the stormy seas you struck
bolts faster than the speed of light
within a second the once calm –
turned unforgettably ruined, chaos.
cries, cries, cries,
full of pleas
'help, help, help, us rise'
screams, screams, screams,
full of anguish
'take, take, take away our pain.'
but can you?
can you save someone, when you can't even save yourself?
