WISH UPON A LUCKY STAR-CHAPTER 1

Sirens ringing loudly,  footsteps swiftly approaching. I can’t be caught now; my life will be officially wasted. The police stopped chasing me. Why? ‘’Lucky, don’t you dare abandon me!’’

I heard the familiar loud voice call out to me. My mind hesitated, should I make a run for it and let him be arrested? Curse my soft-hearted soul, why am I doing this for him, after a while he would throw me away like everyone else but I chose to trust this guy. This guy who changed my life in a bad kind of way.

I felt myself knock into someone, his things crashing to the floor. ‘’ Sorry.’’ I mouthed.

‘’Stop there.’’ I heard the police say, they must be catching up. I tried, but to no avail, to move away from that person I knocked into. ‘’ What are you doing? Let me go.’’ I shouted.

‘’You are not going anywhere you little thief.’’ He said as he tightened his grasp on my arm.

As expected the police caught up I was arrested thanks to him.  He looked at me smugly, I realized he wore a diamond stud on one side of his ear. It was breathtakingly beautiful.

2 years later.

After two years in jail, thanks to that stupid guy. I have come back for revenge! If I see him again I will never let him off, thousand ways of torturing him flashed to my mind. Deep down inside, I knew that I would probably never do all those things even if I met him again. Never did I expect meeting him would be far more worse than I imagined.
