Chapter 9.

"I am leaving the country in 2 weeks." Camila said placing her head in her hands while Lauren sucked in a breath not knowing how to respond.

The silence was thick between the two latina's that chose to sit in a very secluded space so they can have the one on one confusing conversation, Lauren looking intently into Camila's eyes trying to decipher what is going on in her mind. Why is she telling her that? Was she planning on leaving for good?Did Camila try to lead her on just to leave her hanging after a fucking amazing first date?
"How long will you be gone?" Lauren asked not daring to look Camila in the eye anymore, she felt a very strong pang in her heart having this woman next to her leaving in couple of weeks knowing that she somehow got attached to the small taste of what Camila has to offer.

"It will only be for a month or an entire year, it depends." Camila said swallowing her words.

"It depends? On what exactly? and why do you look guilty as if someone is accusing you of murder" Lauren asked confused, if Camila is going for a month or a year why is she so puzzled? Why is she telling Lauren this? What Lauren received as an answer was absolutely not what she expected.

-"It depends on whether I have something to come back to. Someone to come back to." she mumbled her last sentence that was very noticeable by the green eyed who gave Camila a tiny smile. Lauren can see the conflict in Camila's expression, she was tense and her breathing was quick with her hands shaking but barely noticeable to anyone who is not paying any attention.

-"But why are you telling me this?" Lauren asked still confused.

-"Jesus Lauren, because I feel like I owe it to you, I feel like I do not wanna lead you on or be lead on. I like you, I truly do and I know in the back of your head, you are saying "this chick is crazy she barely knows me" and yes Lauren it's true I barely know you, I don't know what your favorite color is, or which side of the bed you like to sleep on. I don't even know if you are actually into girls, I am only hoping here and taking a big leap of faith with you, because that's what you make me do. The moment I saw you Lauren, every wall I worked on building for the past few years was shattered to their last brick, to feel vulnerable and exposed, and I can assure you I have never felt anyone worthy of this like you. The point is, the reason I am telling you I am leaving, is to know, will there be a chance for us Lauren, if I promised to make those upcoming 2 weeks unforgettable and treat you like the goddess you are, will you consider giving it a shot? will you be here if I come back after a month? Will you be my reason?" Camila finished with her heart filling speech, leaving Lauren with wide eyes and a thumping heart.

"I don't know what to say, you,,,," Lauren was out of words. the only relationship she was on was with Brad, and things were familiar, because she knew him even before dating. But this was new, different and way out of her usual bubble.

"I know you are hesitant, and you just ended something that meant a great deal to you for the longest of time, and I am not trying to pressure you into being with me, I just want to know if I have a slight chance of being someone in your life. Someone who will do their best to make you happy." Camila continued, her eyes beaming with tears, God how stupid was she to even think that Lauren would want her, or even wait for her.

"I honestly don't know what to say" Lauren paused ducking her head and blushing, she hated seeing the tears in Camila's eyes, but at the same time she never had anyone turn her into a mush the way Camila does.

"How about you just freaken say yes and save us all the heartache." Dinah jumped into the conversation startling both of them while Normani and Ally tried to hold her back.

"Dinah it's ok, I don't want to ..." Camila was interrupted by Dinah who held her hand up to ask her to stop talking.

"I am sure you don't want to pressure her, and this is not the conversation we need to be having now, but I spend 3 years seeing the misery on your face Lauser, 3 years, you were numb and she comes in and makes you smile like a child on Christmas day, get your freaken head out of your ass." Finished Dinah, staring at Lauren with loving eyes and having Lauren smiling at her while turning to Camila who suddenly found the ground interesting.
