"I GOTTA GO!" You shouted as you ran to the car. Your friend who was also on the team waited in her car. THe rest of your fam got left behind, not needing to be there as early as you did.
As you two arrive, you both run into the gym and you heave a loud sigh as you sit down in the locker room and catch your breathe. You were super anxious since this was the first time that Wesley was able to attend one of your games.
"You'll be fine." Your friend reassures you, resting her hand on your leg that was previously shaking with nerves.
You nod as she walks off elsewhere in the locker room. When the coach tells you to get onto the court, you and your team run out.
You are the one to start the game of volleyball and you spike the ball across the net, earning your team a point.
You stare around the room, your family sitting floor seats as they cheer you on. Next to them is Wesley, and your heart skips a beat when your eyes set on him. He waves and blows a kiss toward you.
As you and your team pass the volleyball, you spike it across the net again, earning another point. The team cheers you on, clapping and high-fiving you.
"That's my girlfriend!" You hear Wesley brag as you peer over at them. He smiles and sits bac down, his cheeks turning red.
Before you turned around, he mouthed the words I Love You, just for you to see.
