"Be careful walking to school! And remember stay away from the forest!" My mother yelled at me as I walked out of the front door muffin in hand.

"Yeah ok mom. See you after school." I yelled closing the door and walked to the forest. She may have still been scared after the incident when I was young but I wasn't anymore. I also don't blame the wolves unlike her. As I walked closer to the forest as a shortcut to school I still watched carefully just incase a wolf was still there, watching. There never was but although I don't blame them I still don't want to be attacked. I slowly ate the muffin as I walked through and at the heart of the forest I saw a boy. He was around my age and just sitting on the floor. He looked like he didn't belong there, well I guess he didn't because I've never seen him before. But the way he dressed and looked made him look strange to the eye. However, the way he sat, peacefully and calm, made him feel like he was always there. Like he was one with the forest. I realized I had been staring and spaced out when a soothing yet rough voice all at the same time broke me out of it.

"Hey. Girl. What are you looking at? And what are you doing in the forest alone?". It was the boy that had moved in front of me without me noticing.

"Oh, uhh,Hi?" I didn't know what to say to the random boy in the forest. Anything could set him off and he could be a murderer or something. I looked him up and then down, then up again. He could definitely be a crazy murderer by the way he looks. A leather jacket over a ash gray t-shirt and black pants with a chain connecting the back pocket to the belt loop in the front.

"You must really like the color black don't you?" I asked him trying to make him distracted.

"What?" He looked down at his clothes and laughed. "Yeah, I guess so." He smiled as his eyes closed but he faced me. When his eyes opened again I gasped, noticing that his eyes were very odd. They were a shade of yellow, very odd color of eyes but they also looked so normal to him. His shaggy dark brown, almost black, hair framed his face and eyes almost perfectly.

"So where are you heading?" He broke me out from spacing out once again.

"Umm...A place." I smiled and he did too but his looked more fake and somewhat annoyed with me.

"Really?" He asked annoyance laced through his voice.

"Yup!" I chirped back.

"So school I see. High school? At...hmmm....Valentoria High. You must be really smart to go there." he smiled as he said all of this information about me.

"How do you know this!?"

"It says on your bag, and hoodie."

"Oh..."

"Yeah. Well that annddd I've seen you around school."

"Wait, you go there too?!?" I couldn't believe this. I have never seen him in my life and he's claiming to have seen me at my school.

"Yes. And you walk in this forest everyday. Even the weekends. You were attacked by wolves when you were little."

"Now how do you know that one!? And it was only one wolf." I spued.

"It used to be in the news. And I live here so I see you everyday."

"Well that's not creepy." I mumbled under my breath.

"Nope, it's creepy you coming into my house everyday. Now let's get going or else we'll be late to school." he started to walk off and I jogged after him to catch up.
