I get up slowly and look around.
That's when you see it. Down the field a ways is a figure, their long, hazel mane and pink coat soaked like yours.
My eyes widen a bit and I start running towards it.
The figure doesn't move as you move towards her, your eyes quickly seeing her eyes are a bright amber.
"R-Rosie..!" I start running as fast as I can, tearing up. Even if it's just a dream.. I want to enjoy every second.
You feel me wrap my arms around you as you gather me up in your strong arms. "MC..."
I cry and hug you tightly to me. As we touch the gloomy clouds leave and sun shines down on us.
"You need to move on..." you hear me whisper after a moment.
"w-what..?"
"Leave the hospital and don't go back. Find a better mare."
"I will never ever move on.. I won't leave you.. if you.. die.. I want to die too..." I hug you tighter like my life depends on it.
"What good would that do? Why do you think I'm in that hospital bed?"
"where could you be if not there.."
"I'm there because of you." I whisper. "I saved your life. Are you gonna let my sacrifice go to nothing?"
