Nothing Is Stronger

"R-Rosie..!" I struggle free and walk over to your bed looking at you and looking for your beautiful eyes. Everyone is watching quietly.

It takes a minute, but my eyes slowly flutter open, a small whimper escaping me. "M-m-m..."

I whimper a bit "s-shh.. I-I'm here Rosie..." I smile in tears and I feel my heart almost jump out from happiness that I can finally hear your voice. "This is unbelievable.. Her heats beats are getting stable and everything is all right..!" doctors whisper behind me. I put my hoof on yours gently.

I smile weakly up at you, my body just too worn down to stay awake for too long. "M-mm...c..." I slowly close my eyes again and pass back out.

I sight happily knowing you are only sleeping now. I kiss your cheek warmly and pull the covers over you. Your heart beats happily with life.

The doctors stare in shock. "How did you.."

I look at them a bit "nothing is stronger... then pure love..."

They give you a dumbfounded look, rolling their eyes a bit.

"you don't believe me? then how would you explain that nothing made her wake up this far?"

They shake their head. "Lighting streak. Get him out of here." He says to your nurse.

I sight and give you a last kiss on your head. I smile as I see you smile in your sleep. I follow my nurse to my room. I ask her on the way "please tell me if she wakes up, will you..?"

She nods. "Of course. And like I wanted to tell you before...you can leave anytime..."
