Taehyung straightened his back, arms high above his head as he stretched his long limbs. His sweatpants hanging low on his hips, his soft stomach peaking out from underneath the old shirt he wore as he stretched further.

His option of clothing didn't bother him too much as he had no plans to go out until later. There wasn't really a dress code for unpacking, so Taehyung had decided to do it in the clothes he'd wore to bed.

Glancing around, he promptly decided that he had fucked up in doing that. It was nearing one, the time he had planned to go out and visit the store he'd saw in town, maybe introduce himself to the locals,  but he hadn't even made a dent in the boxes. He'd done more lazing around on his phone then touching them, feeling far too comfortable to actually do work. That shits hard.

Not only that but the fact that he had refused to label the boxes when moving, having told himself that those few seconds in doing so would've been a waste of time, made everything ten times harder.

Taehyung bit his tongue to keep himself from whining, glancing over the mess the living room had become. Past Taehyung must've been a fucking idiot, he concluded with a firm nod.

Current Taehyung was no better.

He toyed with the idea of simply using his magick to unpack everything before quickly dismissing the notion. The likelihood of that actually working through with his talents was very slim. The contents were far to valuable for him to make a silly mistake and potentially ruin them.

The young witch turned from the mess and headed down the small hall, towards the room at the end to change into more appropriate clothing.

Who wanted to spend all day packing anyways?

He was thankful past Taehyung had at least been smart enough to not put all of his clothes in boxes, leaving some in the suitcase he brought for quick access. Deserves a pat on the back, really.

He got dressed in silence, different scenarios playing throughout his head as to how the day could go. Any other day he'd be singing at the top of his lungs to some song he had heard on the radio that day but the only noise heard in the house was his clothes hitting the floor.

So to say he was excited would be an understatement.

Everything was so new. The town. The people. The stories, the sights, the smells-Yes the smells, the air felt cleaner out here then it had in the city. He'd woken up to the sounds of birds and other critters that resided in the forest, a dramatic change from hustle and bustle that came from the city.

Everything was different and he couldn't wait to experience it all.

Taehyung glanced towards the mirror as lifted the thin, black choker up to clip it around his neck. A small, black gem dotted with white hanging from the soft velvet.

Snowflake obsidian.

One of his favorite gems.

It was a stone of purity and purification. Known to provide balance in time of change and release any wrong thinking, something he found himself doing a lot.

His hands left his neck as he eyed the way it sat at the base of his neck with a pleased hum.

Not to mention it was pretty.

Like him lmao.

He reached out and grabbed the small bag sitting at the edge of the dresser, letting it sit in the palm of his hand. It was his mojo bag. Yet another thing he never left the house without.

This bag contained Feverfew, Hyssop, and comfery root. They were there to prevent any general accident he may get himself into. The root would protect the traveller and protect them from theft.

Protection.

One could never be too careful as the world was full of dangerous creatures, both humans and the supernatural alike.

Taehyung hastily shoved the small bag into his pocket, glancing over himself once again as he mentally went over a checklist.

Part of him was smug at just how fine he looked. A small grin pulling at his lips as he momentarily forgot about his list.

Really. It should be illegal for his ass to look this good and don't even get him started on how the sweater paws made him look.

Absolutely fucking precious.

Focus.

Right. Fuck.

He grabbed the keys as he left the bedroom, backtracking in his thoughts.

Everything seemed to be in order, thankfully enough.

His wallet and his cellphone were already in his bag, he had the house key in his hand and the talisman was in his pocket.

Good.

Grabbing his bag on his way out, Taehyung felt his signature grin make its way to his face.

Today was going to be good.
