I woke up to hear laughter coming from outside the tent. I grown, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes I slowly unzip the tent and step out. "Hey guys" I say in a groggy tone of voice to the other who are sitting around a suety burned out flickering fire. "Ya slept long enough!" Chuckled Zane. "Oh shut up" I said playfully punching his shoulder. "I want coffee!" Wined Abby, resting her head on Simon's shoulder. "Well since T slept in so much, he should be the one to get the water and wood." Exclaimed Zane, with a wide smirk on his face. "Okay Zane. If you're so smart than you help him." Said Simon, "okay I will!" Said Zane enthusiastically. "I call getting wood!" I said quickly, "dammit. Ok fine, I'll get the water then." Said Zane glaring at me, so Zane grabbed a small pot and headed toward a nearby lake. I headed into the woods to find a few logs and sticks. As I was picking up a stick to add to my pile, I hear a splash of water. I drop The wood I had collected and run to where I thought it was coming from, when I get there I see Zane sitting in the lake soaked from head to toe with a sour look plastered on his face. I ran over to help him out of the water but as I was nearing the edge of the lake I tripped on a route of a tree and fall into the lake also. We laughed and I helped him up sending him back to the camp with his pot of water. As I went to re-collect my wood that I had dropped I was thinking of how to explain that both saying and I were soaked with pond water. When I got back Zane was already changed and drying his hair with a towel he brought. Simon was talking to Abby as she happily sips a hot cup of newly brewed coffee, I dumped the logs at his feet making him jump a bit he look down at the logs then up at me "why are you wet?" Asked Simon obviously trying to hold back a laugh, I say nothing and walk into the tent to get dry clothes and dry my hair. After I dry off I get a cup of tea and sit by the fire with the others. "So why were you too wet?" Asked Simon with Lexi and Abby both directing their attention towards Zane and I. "I was off getting wood for the fire when I herd Zane fall in, so I went to help him. When I tried to pull him out I ended up falling in too." I said a bit annoyed. "Ha! Dumb ass!" Laughed Lexi. "Yeah, yeah." Said Zane. "Come on guys, let's explore the woods!" Said Zane desperately trying to change the subject. We all agreed and decided to go for a hike. After what felt like hours of walking we decided to head back, by the time we got back it was dark. We all stuffed down some food and went to bed. I was laying on my sleeping bag I sighed and closed my eyes, feeling heavy and relaxed.
