My Daughter

Flight.

I sat down in a seat of the Quinjet. Everyone was there. I grabbed my things as I buckled into my seat. Tony and Dad flew the jet while everyone else sat in the back bored out of their minds!

"You ready". Alexis said to me nudging my shoulder. I gulped and nodded. The one thought that ran through my head was. 'Keep everyone safe even at the coast of your life'. Fear gripped me like an ocean current.

The jet lifted from the ground and I closed my eyes. Chris kicked my foot. "Worried". She said and I nodded. I took a deep breath. Relaxing my stomach which was tying itself in a knot.

"Hey don't worry, we'll get through this... together". I just nodded and Alexis lightly punched my shoulder, sending a little shock through my arm. I glared at her then threw a snowball at her. She gasped and touched my side and she zapped me and Chris just sat back and video taped us. We kept throwing things at each other until We were yelled at by Clint. "Would you too knock it off, geez some teenagers you are". We knew he was joking about the teenagers part but the rest was real.

We sat for about 5 hours. Here was my thing sit for 30 minutes, get up pace, look outside, check the guns, look at game plans, sit down again. This was for most of the flight before Bucky put his hands on my shoulders "Relax Jamie everything is going to be fine". He said and directed me towards my seat. I sat down and closed my eyes. I wasn't able to fall asleep though, I had too many thoughts blowing through my head.

I sat in my seat and looked at the clouds passing bye. The sun was setting over the mountains and my dad came out and patted my head. Tony was flying still and Thor went in to be co-pilot. He took Alexis's seat and I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Dad I am really nervous about the battle". I said looking at him in the eyes. "We all are baby girl, I promise you're not the only one, we all are feeling it, even though it may not look it we are inside". He said. I looked out the window again. I pushed the feeling in my stomach back and took a few deep breaths.

I fell asleep on dad's shoulder. I was woken up the the Quinjet shaking. I sat bolt upright. But then I realised we were landing everyone had fallen asleep. I poked my dad and him mumbled something. "Dad we have landed". I said and he sat up. Everyone else was starting to get up.

I shook Alexis awake. "Get the fuck away from me, I was having a good dream about Harry Styles". I laughed. She had fallen in love with One Direction when she moved here and now she is in love with Harry. I kicked her one last time and then stretched. My fingers hit the top of the jet and I rubbed my eyes.

Someone slid their fingers across my back and it was Danny. "Next time that will be across you butt sweetie". He whispered in my ear. I slapped him and just nodded my head.

The back of the Jet opened and about a dozen men came in and started unloading our equipment. I slung my bag over my shoulder and walked into my bunker that I was sharing with Alexis, Chris, and Naf

No what I mean by bunker is a normal sized house with its own kitchen, and bathroom, and had 2 separate rooms. Alexis, Chris, and I shared the bigger room while Nat got the smaller one.

There were 3 beds and all of them lined up on one wall. And dressers on the other. There were barred windows and plexiglass.

I chose the end bed near the window, and Alexis next to me and Chris on the other end.

Nat knocked on the door and told us she was going to go may down in her room for a little bit. We nodded and shut our door and I unpacked my bags. We were told we were going to stay here a little while so that the people injured can have time to heal over at our base. A few hundred miles away.

Once we were all done I left the room and went to explore the place.  'I can get used to this'.
