(A/N: Hiii. Sorry for the late update. Super busy with school. Fuck being a senior.)

I walked in my dorm room and crashed in bed, seeing my roommate Raven hastily rummaging through her closet, looking frustrated.

"Hey." I said in the awkward way we greeted each other.

From what I heard, Raven was a delinquent which was proven by her dark makeup and usual band shirts, a misfit kid yet she was considered to be one who rolled with the "cool kids"

"Yeah hi," she muttered distractedly, still searching for something. She let out a long sigh and ran her fingers through her hair, walking over and sprawling down on her bed. "Fuck it." She mumbled.

"Everything okay?"

And she looked at me like I was from outer space, probably wondering why I striked up a conversation.

"What do you think?" She scoffed.

"Searching for Narnia?"

She smiled a little and sat up. "Have you seen my black scarf?"

I scanned my eyes around the room and saw a black piece of clothing sticking out from under her bed. "Is it that one?" I pointed below her, she looked down and snatched the black fabric.

"Thank you! God, I've been looking all over for this. Thanks Sky, I owe you one."

"Anytime." I smiled. This was probably the longest conversation I had with her. I was too busy settling in the university that we hadn't had time to chat much and she wasn't the usual crowd that I hung out with.

"How about I repay you by bringing you to a party tonight?"  she asked.

"Well.. I don't really know anyone." I know I was just making exucses because of my laziness. Go ahead!  Sue me!

"Exactly! That's what parties are for my young Jedi. You're suppose to socialize, it's sort of the point." She seemed persistent.

Since I had nothing else to do I just agreed, this could be good right? "Fine."

"What time does it start?"

"Usually at 10 pm"

"Okay." So this means I have atleast 3 hours to get ready.

Soo I had a little snack, took a bath and got dressed. I slipped on a white dress and applied just the right amount of makeup and curled my hair a bit. I wanted to look good since it is the first party i'm going to.

Raven was starting to get irritated because I was moving to slow so I hurried up a bit, put my chucks on and just stuffing things in my bag.

"Hurry up!" Raven said.

"Wait! Last minute mirror check" Which made Raven groan in frustration.

I ran out the door making sure I locked it and had the keys with me.

"Woah! Don't you look different." My cheeks began to heat up at the thought that I might look ugly.

"Different meaning good or bad?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Oh, different meaning good. Definately meaning good." She smiled.

"Thanks!" I said, smiling back.

While Raven was driving us to the party, I couldn't help but ask her about her story. I usually thought that there was more to a person than just one thing. Not just what they're labeled for but who they really are, sometimes people do things that we easily judge without understanding why they did it in the first place.

"Soo.. what's your story?" I asked.

"What?"

"What's your life story? What molded you in to the Raven that you are today?"

"You ask to many questions, don't you think?"

"Hey, don't I have the right to know who my roomate is?"

"Fine." She muttered, not really having much of a choice.

"My full name is Raven Nicole Smith and I was born in Pennsylvania. My mom never got married with my dad but I was told they were in love and my dad was filthy rich, but he left my mom because his family didn't agree and he never knew my mom at the time was pregnant with me. So my mom had to work three jobs for us to get enough money to pay for rent, school and other necessities but we get by. It just annoys me how my mom didn't tell my dad while she has to work soo hard and my dad is living the good life."

"Wow, i'm sorry." I said as we pulled up by the curve to a large frat house.

"Please, don't. I hate it when people feel sorry for me and that's more than what I usually tell others so you better shut up okay?"

"Okay." I said.

"How about you? What's your story?"

"My full name is Skylar Elouise Grey and I was born in Ohio. My family is quite average, you know the normal kind." I said while we were walking towards the front steps. I lied though, that wasn't my real story. I didn't really want anyone to know yet.

(A/N oooohhh... soo what could her real story be? Anyway we'll update again tomorrow to make up for last week.. Since i'm tired and both my friends had to go soo writng without them sucks.
