Barney, as fat and purple as
you are, you taught me lessons. Lessons that I still cherish l
today. Like how a flower is most beautiful, when it is given away.
Those ugly songs contaminated teens sing about you are just
awful. And they ring warning
bells of those kid's deep
troubles.
Barney, even though I seem
too old to admit it now. You're
one of my childhood heroes,
but you're not the kind of hero
that the other kids would go
"wow" for.
I get tearful when I hear
you sing those beautiful
songs. And a broad smile
graces my lips, and I then
sing along...

This poem I created when I was flipping through channels on my TV and I accidentally went to Jimjam and Barney was on. I watched the whole episode and spend the last, say two minutes of the episode crying.
It was that time of the month for me, so my mom let me stay home the next day and eat chocolate ice cream all day. It was pretty awesome.
You guys can think whatever you want but I still think Barney is cool, he's no Harry Styles but that big fat purple dinosaur will always have a small soft place in my heart.
