Author's POV~
5 boys had now been teleported to a building from the past. Once aware of their surroundings they became aware that no one could see them. 1 of the boys seemed confused about where he was but the other 4 knew all too well where they were. None of those 4 wanted to be back in a place like this again but it wasn't about them now. It was all for her.
Amber/ Masako's POV~
"Teeheee you can't catch me Yuma!" The lively blonde named Kou shouted cockily. His friend, Yuma chasing him not too far behind. I sat in the tree on a branch out of anyone's view reading my book. I'm not much of a talker I'm scared of anyone really except 2 people. Mr and Mrs Young. Mrs Young works as a maid here whilst Mr Young has a job elsewhere. I have always thought of them as my parents because they are the closest thing to a mother and father figure.
I can't remember anything before I came here, nothing at all. Maybe because of how young I was or maybe trauma ? maybe it just slipped my mind but I've never bothered trying to find out. All I know is that I came here when I was 4 and I have to wear colour contacts. I know strange right? But I'm not bothered by it.
"Aww no fair I tripped over this stupid tree root" Kou complained annoyed that he had fallen from his oh so mighty throne. Yuma just chuckled helping him up. I just observed from above curious about where the other two where. As if on cue the other two came one who looked more like a mummy than anything and the other more mature than the rest.
"Right come on you two it's time for your lessons" The mature one Ruki says. They nod and begin heading to the wall where they had their lessons. Kou ran ahead followed by Yuma whilst Azusa and Ruki walked at a slower pace.
Since I had lost my place in my book I decided that I would observe them further. I walked along the tree branch then jumped onto the wall and walked across. The wall was quite high the reason being so no one could escape. It was like a prison most of the older children would call it that.
Once I got to a position that wasn't too close or too far away I sat with my legs dangling off the ledge. I did this often because I was eager to learn all the stuff I didn't learn from the books I read. Ruki usually taught them everything he knew which was surprisingly a lot for someone of his age. I haven't been caught once but it does become a pain once in a while when you can't ask him a question on a topic you are confused about but I'll take anything I can get.
Today I think maybe it was the suns fault that I was finally caught. My shadow had been casted on the ground beneath me. Usually I was far enough away that this wouldn't have been a problem but I wasn't being cautious because Ruki was teaching them a topic that I never have been able to understand and when you are sitting far away you only get snippets of his lessons.
I hadn't noticed my shadow was casted onto Azusa until Kou pointed it out. I did try to run away once I had been caught but it was no use.
Kou's POV~
I glanced over to Azusa for a split second whilst Ruki was teaching us and I saw this strange shadow on him. It wasn't the wall because it had the figure of a girl?!?! I followed the direction of the shadow and saw a little girl with white hair watching Ruki as if she was listening to his lesson. I leaned over to Azusa and whispered that someone was watching us not taking my eyes off the girl. Ruki caught me whispering to Azusa and by the look on his face he was NOT happy.
"Kou, Azusa would you actually listen to what I'm trying to say? This isn't as easy as the rest of the things I have taught you so the least you could do is listen"
"But........Ruki.........Kou was..........trying to tell me that...........someone is.....mmmppphhh" I cut Azusa off with my hand but then he bit me.
"Ouch" I yelped.
"Someone.....is watching......us Look" Azusa finished and pointed to the girl. Ruki and Yuma's eyes followed the way Azusa was pointing until they saw the girl. The girl now realising we had caught her began running down the wall but accidently tripped over a stone and fell.
It was if everything went in slow motion. Once she fell my body began sprinting to her falling figure. I thankfully caught her but the force that she was coming down by was waaayyyy too strong and I ended up falling down with a 'THUD'
Fuuto and the Mukamki's POV~
We were just watching this event unfold from the side lines. It seems as if this was apart of the Mukami's past as well.
Yuma- AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I remember that you tried to catch her but ended up falling as well
Kou- H-Hey it wasn't my fault that the wall was so high and I also had an injured hand because SOMEONE bit it *cough* *cough* Azusa *cough* *cough*
Azusa- Heheh.....You gave.....me.....no choice.......Sorry
Ruki- *sigh* We were so different then
Kou- Yeah especially Masa--- I mean Amber
Fuuto- Wait what do you mean? is Amber not her real name?
Kou- Ruki should I tell him ?
Fuuto- Tell me what?
Ruki- It won't matter anymore just watch
All- Okay
Masako/ Amber's POV~
I had my eyes closed bracing myself for the impact of the solid ground. But I what I wasn't expecting was to feel something soft and that something speak. I opened my eyes one at a time slowly. I realised I landed on Kou!?!?! I jumped off him and backed up a bit until I hit another body. I turn around to see Yuma. Oh god no I had been circled because all 3 of them were circling me.
"Hey............are you.........okay?" Azusa asks. 'Oh god oh god oh god' I begin to shake in fear. I'm scared about what they'll do when they realize that I was watching them. Kou finally got up and stared at me.
"Um what's wrong are you afraid of us?" Yuma asks. All I could do was nod. Ruki eyes flash like he got what he was searching for. He looks at all of his brothers.
"It seems that she is afraid of people is that correct?" Directing the question at me. Again I nod. He sighs.
"Don't worry we don't bite could you tell us your name if you don't mind?" Kou asks.
"M-my n-n-name I-is M-M-Masako" I manage to splutter out. Kou puts a hand out to help me up. I was hesitant at first but I took it anyways. Once I was up they all gave me a friendly smile.
"Well Masako would you like to join us in our lessons maybe even be our friend?"
"R-r-really?!? m-m-me?" I ask shocked. Yuma chuckled.
"Well who else us kids need to look after each other"
"T-t-then in t-t-that case o-ok " I manage to say still in a state of shock that I had made friends.
"Great now come on lets see what we can find for lunch Ya coming?" Kou ask.
"Yeah of course" I say.
"Good now come on before it's all gone" Ruki says. We all nod and begin running back into the building that they had all grown familiar too. And that building was...
