Were am I? I move my arms, but no sensation comes to me. Why's everything so dark? Where am I? I can't see anything. Wait, there's a light over there. I try to walk, but my legs don't respond. There must be another way! But what? As I get frustrated a horribly painful feeling blossoms from my back. Aaaagggrrhhhh!!! I scream silently, the darkness soaking up all sound like a sponge. I look behind me but see nothing. I make a metallic hissing noise. Almost immediately more pain comes to me, this time in my eyes, so I close them and cover them with my paws.

"AAARRRGGGGHHH!!!" I scream, this time I'm able to hear myself. I take my paws away from my eyes, and I can see. There was still darkness, but no longer one that signified emptiness, but more like the color is being drained from millions upon millions of shadows that moved about aimlessly. I move my legs again, but still don't move anywhere. I start to panic, moving every body part that I'm able to, that's when I notice I have a tail and wings. I swish my tail around getting used to the muscles I was unaware of a few moments ago.

Then I notice a griffon walking unsteadily towards me, his arms stretched out attempting to regain his balance. He stumbled once more and fell. Before I finished blinking I was running towards him. I almost caught him, but he just flapped his pure white wings and somersaulted over me.

"I'm just kidding, kiddo, I've been here awhile" he held out his paw "I'm Gavin" I frown in confusion.

"No, your a griffon" I say, flapping my wings. I think I'm getting used to this flying thing.

"Its my name, what's yours?" He chuckled, light seemed to radiate from his very being. My name? Do I have one? I frown.

"I don't know if I have one" I stare at at the shadowy figures in wonder.
"Well, can I give you a name?" I shrug.
"Sure, go ahead." Gavin cheered for a bit then grew silent as I continued to stare at the shadows moving around constantly.
"I know! I'll name you kieran!" He flew over to me, chuckling and staring at the shadows with me. "They're pretty, aren't they?" I turned to him, nodding slightly. "Do you know what they are yet?"

"No, do you?" I ask hopefully, reaching out a paw to touch one figure that floated lazily past.
"They're souls that need bodies, I've wanted to set them free but I've been searching for my opposite," he turned to face me, "kieran, I've been waiting for you to help me make reality, I made time when I first gained awareness of myself, I thought it would help me find you quicker" he looked sad. I closed my eyes and that's when I noticed a new sensation, a light cool pressure, coming from everywhere at once.

"Yes, I will help, but how do I do that?" The coolness grew more intense.
"Can't you feel your power kieran? mine feels really warm, what does yours feel like?" Is that my power? The coolness grows more intense, the coolness feels pleasant against my bare scales. Yes, that is it.
"Yes, I feels cool, but how do I use it?" I go to touch a soul and the flow of my power changes direction and surrounds the shadowy soul.

"Just like that! That's how kieran!" Gavin giggles and raises a limb, light bursts forth from him and chances away all the darkness, revealing green grass and a beautiful pale purple flower, I bent down and sniffed it. It smelled super sweet, like an unripe tomato. "That's a soul flower, kieran, it makes a light soul turn back to a shadow soul" the soul he shot the beam of light through was becoming clearer by the second.

"How'd you do that Gavin?" I reach out and touch the the rabbit the soul became. "Ow, fucking God!" I flinch as searing pain flares in my arm, the rabbit has the same reaction, except his fur was quickly becoming black, spreading from where I touched him, all the while screaming horribly. "What happened Gavin!" I looked at the griffin, but he was no longer there.

"Please sir, help me, it hurts." He arched his back, foam frothing from his mouth.
"I, I'll try." I get down on my knees, and place my hands on his little chest. My vision changes, now I can see a dark blue light that didn't seem like a light at all, and another one that glowed so brightly I'm surprised he hadn't burned up from it. Where the two kinds of light touched was a dark, red light ITT was small but growing, for some reason I felt like that light was what's causing the rabbit pain. I sent my power through him, destroying the bright and the red light, replacing it with my dark blue one.

Immediately he stopped screaming, and his eyes rolled back into his head as he sagged in relief. "That should feel better.....I think"
"I, is he OK?" Gavin suddenly appeared by my shoulder. I nodded.
"What happened to him, Gavin?" I look at the griffin, he was hiding behind my tail. Did he shrink?
"When you touched him you transfered some of your power into him, and it fought with my power, creating a new power in him that I call a sin," he took a deep breath before speaking again.

"A sin is a bad power. It takes over the soul until they become corrupt, both our powers can turn into a sin but it can take a very long time, but when our powers mixed they fought for control, and allowed themselves to become corrupt, turning into a sin. But when I gave the soul purpose and you tried to do it also, yours spread much faster then mine did, nor did it affect our surroundings." I think he was talking to himself at the end.

"How do you know its bad?" I ask him.
"How about this kieran, we'll make a place for two souls to live, make it perfect for them, a beautiful garden, where they'll be protected from stress and pain. Then we'll watch them grow, you put a soul in a vessel, and I will too, then when our power in them becomes corrupt, then you'll see that a sin is bad, deal?"

Sure, why not? "Deal" I shook his paw. Once again he reached out a paw and sent his light into a soul, who cleared itself into a female fox. I singled out a soul and sent my power into it. It jerked once, then gradually the shadows on it bled off.

"Im going to name you eve!" Gavin said ecstatically. I turned to my wolf, who's shadows had just completely came off.
"I guess I'll name you Adam" the two souls just stared at us blankly.

"You need to put the souls in a vessel" the rabbit had got up, his fur nearly completely black except for very small patches of blood red. "Nice to meet you two, I'm Lucifer" he didn't reach out a hand like me or Gavin, he just stood there, glaring at me. He looked evil.
