Olivia's POV:
"Livvy, were here"
I opened my eyes to only see the outline of Brad as it was so dark outside. I sat up and followed him out the taxi to see a cute, little family house infront of me white tiled pathway leading up to the white front door. I noticed a light was on in the house, why was his family awake at this time?
"Ok so the thing with my family is that they like a party and celebrating and they kinda through me a welcome home party" he said awkwardly shifting his weight.
"So what's the problem?"
"I didn't tell them you were staying" he said so quick I couldn't digest it before he opened the front door to a group of smiling faces that soon turned to confusion when they saw me.
How. Fucking. Awkward.
"Mum! Dad!" Brad shut the door after we both had entered, I stood back and smiled awkwardly at everyone who smiled back at me before continuing to enjoy the party.
"Oh Brad you've finally brought a girl home!" A middle aged lady said before pulling me into a hug, this must be his mum.
"Oh no mum, dad this is Olivia Joes little sister and my new bezzie mate" he said nudging my arm making me feel even more awkward.
"Well it's lovely to meet you! Sorry about all this but we do love an excuse to have a party!" His dad smiled widely, much like the way Brad smiles. "I'm Derek and this is Anne"
"It's nice to meet you guys too" I smiled at the charming couple.
"Where's Nat?" Brad asked.
"She feel asleep, she tried to stay up but she was so tired" his mum chuckled, Nat must be his little sister he told me about once.
"So Olivia can I get you a drink?" Derek asked me and guided me over the the little bar at the back of their garden, I looked behind me to see Brad was still standing with his mum chatting.
"So your Joes little sister yeah?" Derek said as we reached the bar, he lifted up a fancy bottle of wine and I nodded.
"Yeah I work the management office in London, just paper work really, nothing exciting" I shrug accepting the glass of wine.
"Well you seem to bring my son a lot of happiness and I can't wait to get to know you more Olivia" Derek raised his glass and we cheersed.
"He's not chatting your ear off is he?" Brad popped up next to me with a bottle of beer in his hands.
"No he was lovely" I smiled at Derek who winked down at me before walking off to the rest of the party, he reminded me so much of Brad, I loved it.
"I'm sorry, I should have warned you sooner but I was scared you wouldn't come"
"Wow, that was a very honest answer Bradley" I teased him finishing off my glass of wine.
"Always"
I really wish he didn't say that.
"Brad! Look what I've found!" His mum came running up to him holding a old, tatted acoustic guitar.
"Woah! Where did you find this rusty gem!" He said taking the guitar off his mum.
"That was the first guitar he ever learned on" his mother informed me, I looked down at Brad who was looking at his guitar doe-eyed, he looked adorable, gently running his fingers along the strings.
"Play a song" I said casually.
"Yes! Oh my god! Brilliant idea Olivia!" Anne said overly excited and ran off to the middle of the living room.
