{Rose's POV}
I jerked up, remembering the events from... From.. Before. I honestly do not know how long I was asleep. I looked down immediately, and the corners of my eyes started burning. A tear escaped my eye. I was wearing a black tee-shirt that said, "I flexed and the sleeves fell off." and grey sweats. My feet dangled off the bed, and in the corner of my eye, the pillow was white with a big red spot in the middle. I climbed down the wooden steps, and walked around. I was mugged by a japanese man, and got raped by them too.
"She really hit the back of her head hard." A voice said.
"Yeah."
"I don't know why you didn't save her!"
"I thought you would!"
I followed the voices.
"You heard that?"
Shit. I jumped to the ceiling, and popped in the air vent. Thank you Leverage. Thank you Parker.
"I heard it here, I'm sure."
"Well do you see anything?"
"They could've watched Leverage and popped in there."
"Please, no one watches Leverage these days."
Once the steps faded, I dropped to the floor.
"SHE'S GONE!" They screamed.
Shoot. Asians running after me. I ran towards the door, until someone grabbed my arm. I turned my head, and saw an asian guy. I started screaming.
"SHUT UP!"
"L-LEAVE ME ALONE!" I sobbed.
"COME BACK IN!"
"YOUR NOT MY FAMILY! SO LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE YOU RAPIST!"
Police sirens were heard, and I kept screaming.
"LET GO OF THE GIRL!" Police yelled.
They pulled my neck, and put a gun to my head.
"Sum Ting Wong, please. Let the girl go." A single bald police officer stepped up.
"N-No." I guess Sum Ting Wong said.
"Would you rather go to jail for the rest of your life, or would you want to let the girl go?"
"None."
"Sum T-"
"GET OUT! I'LL SHOOT HER!"
"P-Please.. Save me." I whispered.
"Do you want us to shoot you?" Police asked.
"I-If you shoot me, then she dead because I pull trigger."
I decided I'll just shut up for the life of myself.
"Sir, there's something in your brain called shutting lines. I have the exact aim for them, and once I shoot it, everything turns off."
What the hell? No there's not.
"So if you let her go, then we won't shoot you, and you'll be free."
He let go of my neck, and I ran to the police officers. One of them took me to a chair, and gave me water.
"Th-that thing was a lie." I whispered, my throat dry.
"What was a lie?" He asked, more into what I was saying.
"The- The shutting lines."
"Oh. I know, we just lie to them, so they won't shoot you."
"O-Oh. Okay."
"How did you know?"
"W-Well, my cousin taught me on everything there is need to be known on being a doctor. She told me about what's in the brain, and so on." I took a sip of the drink.
"Oh. Alright."
The police car passed, and the rapist was there, looking at me. I gulped, and looked away.
"I- Can I go now please?" I asked quietly.
"Sure." He helped me up, and I just walked away.
I finally made it home, and saw him there.
"What do you want, Joshua?" I groaned.
