He sat me harshly on a cold, wooden chair, as the dim light above me flashed down on me. He took the black cloth out of my mouth.
"Look, daughter." He spat. "You are a Spencer. Act like one. I have news for you."
"Yeah, what kind of news?" I asked angrily.
"You'll find out soon enough." He said, placing phone on the desk near the door, and walked out. I immediately texted Jayden and Mark.
"R u boys OK?" I tapped send and waited. While I did, I texted Harry.
"Harry.. they took me and Jayden and Mark. Text back plz plz plz. xx -Rosie Posie"
"Where r u?" A text buzzed on my screen from Harry.
"Idk use that stalker thing and find me."
"See u in 2."
I sighed in relief, and heard footsteps. Oh shit. I put the phone back and went back to the middle of the room. Real dad came back in.
"Don't you realize them, yet?" He asked.
Oh shit. People? Cameras? I'm busted.
"No, not cameras or people." He said.
"Did I say that out loud?"
He laughed, pulling a chair in front of me. "You see, this whole family, and 5 other ones have powers."
I snorted. "Yeah, such powers we can't even get a boyfriend."
"Shut up." He scolded. "I have the ability to control and read minds. For example, I'll give you a book and you'll read it."
"Sure as hell I'm not!" I spat. He gave me this kind of glare but also look as in saying 'you alright?'
"Your mother had the ability to control things. Your sister had the ability to make people love her. And you? You have the ability to do all of those."
He handed me a book and told me to go start reading it at home. My legs obeyed him, but my mind didn't want to. Fuck him. I don't even know where I'm going.
"Just keep going straight." His voice stated. I rolled my eyes, and my legs went straight home with an aggravated body.

I walked to Dad's study, and sat in the chair. My arm was right on the garbage can, but once I tried dropping the book, it came in my lap. His maniac laugh echoed, making me clasp my hands over my ears.
"Love, my power is stronger than yours. none study up, I'll be testing you."
I opened the hard cover, and saw a tiny book. I opened it, and saw pictures. Pictures of me. And him. And mother. I slammed that book on the desk, with a few tears. I opened the book, seeing neat manuscript.
