Chapter 6

Jake's POV:

The doctors helped us into a room. Two nurses hooked Emerald up to these complicated devices, and I took a seat next to the bed and held Emerald's hand. "We've decided to go operate on the patient, so you'll have to wait outside, or go home. We'll be sure to contact you when she wakes. "Thank you." I walked outside. It started raining down fast, and I was soaked on my way home. I checked my IM, there was a message from some user 0_itsAbs_0 and it said 'hi'. I'm assured it's that girl Abbey. I grabbed my laptop and headed downstairs. "Hey Asshole." "Hey Kari. Hey Kari's friend." "H-hi ja-jake." Really? Kari, my popular sister brought home a shy girl?" "We have to work on a science lab." There it goes. "Well have fun and go for the A+!" I tried to sound happy, but seriously I could care less. I grabbed an energy drink and went to the lounge. I fell asleep while watching tv.

Abbey's POV:

I sent an IM to Jake, but he didn't respond. I want to ask him about his party, but I guess he was just being nice to me because I'm new. *sigh* i heard a knock on my door and quickly closed my laptop. "Yes?" "It's your mother." "Come in." "Hey Abbey. Your father and I found a nice house and wanted to know if you liked it too, so we are going to let you stay home from school tomorrow. We will be going to look at the house at 10 tomorrow. We are leaving at 9. It's a little bit of a drive from here, but it's farther away from aunt J." "That's great! I hope Anna likes it too." "Bye Abbey." "Bye mom." I logged onto my Facebook and saw Jake wanted to be my friend! I accepted it right away. Maybe I was wrong and he really likes me.

Nah.

I was watching tv and I fell asleep.

*dream*

I danced around the room in a long purple designer gown. There he stood. The prince. Well, he didn't stand. The evil witch, with the innocent name Emerald, had placed a curse on him. The clock was ten strikes from midnight and I let go of Nathan, the date of mine, and ran up the staircase to where the prince was. He sleeps so beautifully. "Ms. Abigail?" "Yes?" "Try. But he won't wake for anyone, the prince will be buried by the next fort night." I leaned down and softly pecked his lips. I saw his lip twitch. I went for it, and kissed him, properly, only the way I'd kiss my date, Nathan. The prince suddenly awoke. "He's alive!" The royal guard exclaimed. "Be my queen." "Yes!" I cannot believe this. "I am to marry Princess Abigail." "I am to marry Prince Jac-"

I awoke suddenly and sprung out of my bed. I was sweating. I felt sick and ran to the bathroom.

I came out and woke Anna. "Anna!" "What?" "Something's going on." I peered down the staircase. "Fuck." "Abbey!!" "Sorry." "What is it!" "It's a- it's a-" I fell to the floor.

I suddenly awoke. I felt sick and ran to the bathroom. Anna appeared beside me. "Goodnight Abbey." I see her pull out a knife. She stabs me.

*end of dream*

I suddenly awake. It's 7:45am. I get up and walk downstairs. Aunt J is making waffles. "Hey." "Wash your face before you leave." "Ok?" I walk upstairs and take a shower, wash my face, and braid my hair. At least it's Friday. Tomorrow is Jake's party! That means tonight I'm going to Kera and Marie's house. We'll be going shopping and they want to touch up my hair color.

The house was beautiful and we decided to buy it.

I stole $500 from Aunt J and In my wallet I have roughly $200. A long time ago Nathan bought me a skateboard, and taught me how to skateboard. I rode my skateboard to Kera's house and Marie was over already. "Hey girls." We hugged. "Lets go shop!" We climbed into Kera's brother's car. He drove us to the mall.
