The Story Of Their Daughter (Steggy fan fic)

1942

I was writing something in my journal while my mom was talking to someone. 

"Come on Carter let's go." said my mom. 

"Ok." I said as I got up and off and bush of the dirt that was on my dress. Then followed my mom outside.

"Gentlemen I am Agent Carter. I supervise all operations for this division." said my mom. One of the soldiers said something my mom didn't like so she punched him. As she was walking back someone said 

"Peggy?" I looked around to see that it was a small man 

"Steve?" said my mom. My heart stop I only know one person named Steve and that's my dad and I have never met him before. Then I ran to go behind her. I could tell he was trying to see me.

The next day the soldiers were doing a lot of training. I was in a car with my mom.

 "Who ever can get that flag down gets a ride with Agent Carter." said the man that was in charge. They all started climbing up the flagpole. They don't have to do that just unsure the bolts. And then my dad did just that after all men were done climbing the flagpole. Then he went into the car.

That night my mom told me how my dad is going to be a part of project rebirth, and how he's going to become a super soldier. As soon as my mom told me this I knew it would effect me too. But I didn't tell her because I didn't want her have them stop project rebirth. Because I know my dad wants to do it.

 "Night sweetheart." said my mom and kissed me on my forehead. 

"Night mommy." I said back then I went to sleep.

I wasn't able to get much sleep that night. After I got dressed and ate me and my mom got inside a car with my dad too. I was "sleeping" because I really couldn't fall asleep.

 "What's Carter like?" my dad asked. "She the nicest girl ever and the smartest also the bravest. I knew that she was very smart from a young age. I had her tested at the age of 3 she doesn't even need school." my mom said. Then they started talking about something else, then I fell asleep. 

"Carter wake up." my mother said as the car stopped then we got out of the car.

We went inside this little shop which then two walls open and went inside, into this place that looked like a hospital. Then me and my mom went up into the seating area. The Doctor explained what they were going to do. I got more nervous as he was talking. Then they injected blue liquid into my dad. Then the thing he was laying on went up and the doors closed. I looked over at my mom she looked a little nervous too. Then Mr.Stark started turning a wheel and called out 

"That's 10%." he said and so on.

Then a light started shining really bright. Then my dad started screaming, my mom got out of her and ran I followed her. 

"Steve!" "Steve!" the Doctor. 

"Shut it down!" my mom yelled, "Shut it down!" she yelled again. They were about to shut it down but then my dad yelled 

"No I can do this!" then they kept going. 

"That's 80, 90, that's 100%!" yelled Mr. Stark. The light was blinding and stuff was starting to blew up. Then the light died down and stuff stopped blowing up. The doors open and my dad looked completely different. He use to be small and skinny but he was the opposite of that. My mom run up to him I followed her.

 "How do you feel?" she asked him. 

"Taller." my dad said. 

"You look taller." my mom said as she gave him a shirt.

Then bullets came out of nowhere but as that happen someone jumped over me. Then they stopped and I realized it was my dad trying to protect me.

 "Are you ok?" he asked. 

"Yes." I told him. But the doctor got hit, my dad run over to him. He was saying something but I couldn't hear him. Also I didn't want to go closer but then he died. Then my mom and dad ran out of the building I think they were going after the guy who fired them. I didn't follow them because I knew my mom won't want me too.

So I went over to look at the equipment. 

"Hello Carter." said Mr. Stark, I had met him once before. 

"Hi Mr. Stark." I said. "You can call me Howard." he told me.

 "Ok." I said. I started to feel dizzy, then after that everything turn black.

When I woke up I was at army hospital. 

"How do you feel?" my mother asked me as she walked in.

 "I'm in a little pain but I'm ok. What happen?" I asked her. 

"You passed out. I think it's because you're also being affected by project rebirth." said my mom. "Mom." I said. 

"Yes." she said back. 

"You're right I knew this would happen ever since you told me. I didn't say anything because I didn't want it be shut down for dad." I told her. 

"I understand." she told me as she smiled at me.

 "How much longer do I have to stay here?" I asked. 

"Only one more day I will get you tomorrow." my mom said. 

"I have to go. Bye love you." she said then kissed me on my forehead then left.

About a hour later my dad walked in. 

"Hi." he said. 

"Hi." I said back. 

"How are you doing." he asked me. 

"It hurts a little but other than that I'm fine." I told him. 

"You gave me a heart attack I thought that you might be dead." he told me. 

"Sorry I scared you." I said. 

"It's not your fault." he said. 

"Carter why didn't you say anything?" he asked me. 

"Because I knew you wanted to do this and I didn't want to shut it down because of me." I told him. 

He smiled at me then said "What your mother said about you was right you are the bravest girl ever." I smiled at him, "I have to go bye Carter." he said. 

"Bye dad I love you." I said back. He smiled really big then kissed me on the forehead. 

"Bye I love you." he said then left.
