Chapter 6 - Nice Meeting You

Jasmines P.O.V:

We were still staring at each other. Taylor's eyes seemed so lively, I felt as if our eyes were having a conversation.  I interrupted our gaze by looking down, because I felt so embarrassed.  How long were we there just staring at each other? The crowd was gone, and we were just on the floor.  

" Um your nose is bleeding" I said looking up at his face.

"Oh....I didn't realise..." he said calmly but I could tell he was startled.  I looked down again and saw that we were holding hands.

 "I think you should go to the nurse....I would take you but I don't know where her office is..." I said still looking at our hands.

"I think I should too, you can come with me if you want" he said awkwardly.  

"Um, I will, come on lets go" I said helping him stand up.  

We walked up a flight of stairs in silence as people just stared at us.  We were now in an empty hallway.  

"My name is Taylor'' he said awkwardly.  

" My name is Jasmine" I said even more awkwardly.  I noticed that we were still holding hands, he noticed as well.  

" Can I ask you something?" I asked nervously.  

" Ya go ahead" he said as he stopped us.  He pulled us down to the floor by some lockers.  

" Um...did the fight happen because of me?" I asked.

He gently pulled my face up to his, and his lips were just centimeters away from mine.  

" Jasmine, the fight didn't happen because of you trust me...." he said in a surprised tone.  

There was just silence between us as we stared at each other.  I slowly took a glance at his lips, and I think he noticed because he slowly leaned in as his eyes closed.  I leaned in as well, and I closed my eyes.

Just as our lips were about to meet we heard Carmen say "Now, what do we have here".

My eyes immediately snapped open and I jumped far away from Taylor.  

"Um we were just...um" Taylor said in a bewildered tone.  My face went bright red.

"Um I'll just be going to the nurse, Bye nice meeting you Jasmine" Taylor said as he walked away.  

"Ummm, ya bye Taylor" I said. I watched him walk till I couldn't see him anymore.  

Carmens P.O.V:

"So Jasmine...what was just happening over there" I asked her as we walked to class.

"It was nothing Carmen, um just ignore it" Jasmine said as her face went even redder.  

''Fine have it you way Jasmine, but I want to introduce you to my twin cousins.  They just started today, and their names are Alexis, and Anabelle" I said.

" OK" Jasmine said.  

Maybe I shoudn't have ruined Jasmines moment with Taylor.  Why am I such an idiot? They looked so cute together, and they were just about to kiss, argggg I'm a horrible person.  But now I know that they both like each other!!!

 "Oh look I see Alexis, and Anabelle!!!" I said to Jasmine excitedly. Anabelle and Alexis walked over to us.

 " Hey you guys, this is my friend Jasmine" I said to them.

"Hey Jasmine I'm Anabelle and this is Alexis" Anabelle said to Jasmine.  

"Oh Hey guys, Nice to meet you" Jasmine said to them.

" Hey what class do you guys have now?"  asked them.  

"Oh we both have History" Alexis answered.  

"So do we" I said excitedly.  

"Well lets go together come on guys" I said.  I noticed Jasmine seemed distracted for the rest of the day.  I wonder if she was thinking about Taylor....
