Chapter 14 - You Can't Do This!

Jasmines P.O.V:

2 Months Later-

I have been going to Guardian Angel Medical College for 2 months now.  Its nice, but not the same without my Taylor. Carmen gave the twins up for adoption, and she came here to study with me in the same college.  I have a lot of admirers here, its flattering but it can get on my bloody nerves at times.  Taylor and I have video chat session daily, last month Taylor sent a love letter to me written entirely in his blood.

For the past two days while video chatting, Taylor seemed kinda distant...like he didn't wanna talk to me.  I was now getting ready to video chat with Taylor, so I had kicked Carmen out of our room. I sat down in front of my laptop, and then I answered the call I was getting from Taylor.  Suddenly his face appeared on the screen.

" Hey Taylor" I said to him while waving.  "Hi"he said as he didn't even care.  There was a long silence between us.  " UM...Jasmine, this isn't working out" Taylor said looking at a stuffed animal he had in his hands.  "I don't get you" I said.  "Our relationship Jasmine...We should move on...It will be as if I never existed to you" he said.  "Taylor no......it doesn't have to be this way.....you can't change what I feel for you!" I said as I felt tears already streaming down my face.

"Goodbye Jasmine...I'm sorry" he said sternly.  "Wait Taylor NO!!! You can't do this to me....I love you!" I cried out to him.  With that he disconnected the call. It felt like my heart just collapsed and was slowly cracking.  Out of no where I bursted out crying.  I threw stuff around my room.  I grabbed the box full of things Taylor gave me, and sprinted out  of my Aunt's house.  I ignored Carmen's, and my Aunt's calls for me....I didn't know where I was going but I kept running.

It was raining heavily outside, by now I had stopped running.  I just kept walking and walking until I reached the edge of a river.  I kneeled down beside the river and opened my "Taylor" box.  I stared at all the pictures, necklaces, and the blood-ink letter in the box.  I picked up the letter and hugged it.  Then I held it above the rivers edge.  Just as it was about to touch the water, something come over me.

I realised i couldn't take myself away from Taylor.  I put the letter back in the box, and prepared myself for the long walk home.

I got home after 2 hours of walking.  It was like 7 PM, My Aunt, and Carmen were pissed of at me but I refused to tell them what happened.'

Carmens P.O.V:

I wonder what happened to Jasmine.  I know it has something to do with Taylor, but she won't tell me at all.  When she got home her face was puffy from crying, she was soaked from the rain, and she looked lost and heartbroken.  She held her "Taylor Box" tightly and went to sleep with it.  She seemed obsessed over the box.  I just hope she feels better soon.
