Chapter 2

"Hey Lucy."
I looked up and saw, no one I knew?
"Who are you sir?"
"My name is Leo."
Oh shit. It's that guy dad wants me to marry
"Oh yes, mr. Lionhearted. Pardon my attitude but, why the hell are you here?!"
I stare at him in frustration as he sighs.
"I don't like this agreement any more then you do Lucy."
Oh....
"Okay then help me break it off! This agreement is fucking ruining my life and I just want to be left alone!"
He nods
"I don't like this because I'm in love with someone else, not you, no offense."
He put his hands up staring at me and I shook my head
"None taken."
"So I'm assuming you are in love with someone else?"
"I-"
"Hey Lucy!"
I turn around and see Natsu smiling at me but stops when he sees Leo.
"Hello sir, can I help you?"
"Uh yes, I was just talking to Miss.Heartfilia about a family situation and perfect timing that you showed up because we are discussing the matter of our lovers."
I stared between the both of them and put my hands on both their chests.
"Okay, hold it! I do not have a lover and Natsu is not my boyfriend! We're just best friends and he happens to be a boy!
I'm a fucking single as a Pringle and determine to stay that way."
I cross my arms and glare at both of them.
"Well you heard the woman so back off!"
Damnit Natsu...
"Sir, I have no intention of satin or marrying Miss. Heartfilia."
"Marrying?!"
Natsu explodes and everyone in the shop looks at us.
"Levy!"
She turns her head from a customer
"Watch over for me will you?!"
I point to Natsu and Leo who are glaring daggers at each other
She nods and gives me a thumbs up and I push them both outside behind the building.
"Lucy! Why have I not heard of this before?! We're best friends aren't we?!"
"It wasn't exactly something I wanted you to know..."
He glared and it set me off.
"Okay! That's it! Both of you are pissing me off! I was just talking to Leo because we don't agree with what are parents are making us do! So you can calm your ass down and stop acting like an over protective boyfriend! And I knew that this was how you would react and that's why I didn't tell you, cause somethings you just can't handle!"
He just stared at me
"Mr. Dragneel I assure you I have no interest in Mrs. Lucy. Please, do not be alarmed."
"How can I trust you?! Your the damn one who's marrying her!"
"Not marrying me. He's helping wreck this deal. Idiot."
"I don't care."
My shoulders slump and I walk back to the shop. 
Natsu's POV
"Listen here pal. There is a code amongst men, it's something like this, I saw her first. So back off fucker."
He shook his head and sighed
"Lucy was right, you are an idiot..."
"WHAT?!"
"Alright alright calm down..."
He put his hands up in defense and I crossed mine.
"Look if you want to help us break this damn arraignment off that would be great since you obviously have an interest for Lucy, this way you two could get closer. Anyways,
As I said I have no intention in marrying her. So please, will you help us?"
"Anything to help Lucy."
He smiles and grabs my shoulder
"You seem like an interesting person Dragneel, perhaps we could sit down and talk for a while."
"Sure thing man."
We both walked in and when Lucy saw us sit down, acting like the well behaved groups we are not, she smiled.
Her smile is the one thing that makes me happy. The one thing I would give the world just to see.
Lucy's POV
I look past a few people and then towards the clock.
5 more minutes
"Ladies and gentleman it is 5 minutes till closing time, please take you items as soon as you can and we hope you have a wonderful night."
Customers left or finished ordering. When I thought there was no one left I looked down and saw a little boy.
"Hey little man what's up?"
I took a good look at him and he was all dirty and had tattered clothes, is he?
"Um, I, could I have, could I have a b- blue berry m-muffin? Please?"
He was trembling and there was fear in his little blue eyes.
Good lord...
"Sure, sweetheart..."
I took the tongs and grabbed a muffin.
But suddenly I heard crying.
It was the boy...
"Honey why are you crying?"
"I- I don't have e-bough m- money..."
He held out 1 dollar and 10 cents...
"Sweet heart where are your parents?"
He looked up at me and I almost cried when I saw the fear in his eyes
"I don't know..."
"Honey, are you homeless?"
He looked to the floor and slowly nodded.
I didn't care if he was lying or not. He needed care.
"Okay then."
"Please don't call the police!"
I looked at him and softly smiled
"I'm not gonna call the police. How would you like to come home with me?"
He looked up and stared, star struck
"You mean it?"
"Yeah, my house is big for one person so you'll have a room of your own and food everyday."
I now it's a little boy that I didn't now and he didn't now me but his face just gave me this feeling of need but kindness at the same time
I smiled and grabbed my bag, swinging it over my shoulder.
"Mira, levy! Where done!"
The two girls' heads popped out from the kitchen, eyes lying on the boy.
"Who's this?"
I crouched down go his height and smiled
"What's your name sweetheart?"
"My name is Lucas..."
"Well, Lucas, this is Mira Jan and Levy."
They both waved and he slightly waved back.
"And over there,"
I said pointing to the table where Leo and Natsu where sitting at
"See the one with the pink hair? He's Natsu. And the other guy is Leo."
He nods and looks back at me
"Um Mrs. Lucy? Can I have some food?"
Oh my god I almost forgot!
"Of course!"
I handed him the muffin and smiled as he gobbled it down.
"You still hungry?"
He shyly nodded and I giggled
"Hey, you guys want to eat at my place?!"
They all looked at me and smiled
"Yes!"
Looking back down at Lucas, I lifted him up and he shyly smiled at me.
"How old are you? Six?"
His eyes widened
"How did you now? MISS.LUCYS MAGIC!!!!!!"
"Oh no. Don't call me Miss Lucy. Just Lucy."I poked his nose and he nodded.
I put his weight on my hip and looked at everyone else.
"Y'all coming?"
"Y'all? Your serious?"
I glared at Natsu who just grinned back at me.
"Okay cmon I'm hungry Lucas is hungry where all hungry. It time to eat.
I locked up and we all headed to my house. And oh what a pleasant evening it was.
