Miya and Daniel had traveled for days and had only made it half the way. They had been attacked by multiple zombie hordes. They had scratches and cuts all over their arms and legs. But they were still alive. As they were walking along Daniel decided to get to know his traveling companion. He had saved her and she had saved him. The least he could do was get to know here.
''Do you live with anyone?'' Daniel asked.
''No'' Miya bluntly replied.
'So how did you end up on your own?'asked Daniel
'It was six years ago on my 8th birthday, my parents and brother were changed into zombies and i had lost everything.' Maya answered, tears filling her eyes.
Daniel was amazed that a child who had lost everything so young had survived. While Daniel was in his own little world Maya said.
'So why are you on your own?'
'I lost my parents 3 years ago, a zombie attacked our house and i was the only one to escape alive.' Daniel sighed.
Maya turned to Daniel' at least we have eachother, we aren't as alone anymore.' Maya said.
'Yeah, i guess we aren't. ' replid Daniel.
They both smiled at eachother as they reached the top of a hill. They looked out over the deserted city. They both turned to each other. Daniel had never felt the way he felt about Miya. She was strong, brave and smart not to mention beautiful. Was Daniel falling in love?
Miya didn't know what she was thinking. Daniel was one of the most Brave and smart boys she has ever met. Not to mention he was pretty handsome. Was Miya falling in love?
'You ready?' Daniel asked.
'Let's do this.' Whispered Maya
They began to walk towardsthe city.
But they had no idea of what they faced in the city.
