"Courtney get up." my twin brother, Taylor said. "no. shut up and go away." I said. I know exactly what today was, the day I had to go with my douchebag brother to go to something with his douchebag friends. "Courtney. we have to leave in an hour. get up." Taylor said pulling at my blankets. "go away.." I was only going to tell him once more to leave me alone. "MOM! Courtney won't get up!" Taylor yelled. I had to go with Taylor, because my mom doesn't trust me at home by myself. there's reasons, but I don't like talking about it. I heard footsteps, "Courtney, come on I have to take you to the airport in an hour. please get up." she said. I sighed. I didn't want to spend the last hour being here, fighting with her. I went to the bathroom and got in the shower. when I stripped off the clothes, all I could see was my scars on my thighs and stomach. I took a deep breath and turned the water on. I washed myself up then stepped out into the cold air. quickly, I ran to my room and shut the door. I looked through my closet to find something comfortable for the plane ride. I decided to go with a pair of black leggings, my white arctic monkeys tank, my black arctic monkeys beanie, black high tops, and my 'hipster' glasses. http://www.polyvore.com/m/set?.embedder=4606602&.svc=copypaste&id=112143076
I let my hair air dry as I got ready, so it dried into its loose waves. I quickly did my makeup and grabbed my phone. "you take so long!" Taylor exclaimed. "sorry I'm not in a rush to see your douchebag friends." i shot at him. "COURTNEY!" my mom yelled. "what!?" I asked. "stop." she glared at me. I rolled my eyes, then dragged my suitcase down the front stairs and out the door. We were going to Washington D.C for the week. my mom didn't trust me staying by myself, since she was going on a business trip, so she's making me tag along with Taylor. the last time my mom left me alone, all I did was smoke, drink, and feel alone. I almost overdosed on some pills too. so she doesn't trust me, but I've changed. i don't drink anymore. I don't take the pills anymore, but every once in a while I smoke weed. Me and Taylor use to be super close, and all. but he told my mom about how I was acting, and that stopped everything. I told him I hated him, and we fought for three months. I guess we're "cool" now. We pulled into the airports parking lot, and my mom got out of the car too. I took my luggage out of the trunk. my mom pulled me into a hug, "I'll miss you. I'm sorry I'm making you go. you might like it. jut try to get along with everyone okay? I love you." she said. "no promises. I love you too." I said and pulled away. she hugged Taylor and we walked to the front desk. I wasn't paying attention, Taylor did everything. we got our tickets and sat down to wait for them to call our flight. I texted me only friend, Molly. "I'm leaving today. yay! not..."
Molly; "it'll be fun! you get to go to DC! enjoy it!"
me; "HAHAHAH. bc spending time with a bunch of douchebags will be fun? okay."
Molly; "they might not be like Taylor.."
Molly liked these magcon kids. I never looked at their vines or anything. but if they're like Taylor, then I don't want anything to do with them. The woman at the front desk called our flight and we took our seats. "are you excited?" Taylor asked me. "hahahaha, no." I said and put in one headphone. "why?" he asked. "because I really don't want to spend a whole week with a bunch of cocky boys who don't have anything in common with me." I answered. Taylor rolled his eyes and I put in the other headphone and laid my head down on the arm rest. after a few minutes, I fell asleep.
