Many weeks had passed and me and Jessie were back on the same love level then ever. Their was still tension between me and Hannah but I didn’t tell that bother me. Jessie’s parents had invited the whole family to a BBQ this weekend and to be fair I was shitting it, I hadn’t seen her family since our little argument and I didn’t want to go. The only reason why I was going to go is because of Jessie.
“Babe do I look nice in this dress” Jessie said
“Jess, you look hot in any outfit you wear” I said
“Even my birthday suit?” Jessie said
“That’s my favourite one” I said
“hahaha I thought so” Jessie said
We arrived at Jessie’s parents house and the butterflies were literally flying, I was so nervous, but I had to put on a fake smile because of Jessie.
“Hey Dad” Jessie said
“hey Jessie, Hi Abby” Steve Said
“Hi” I replied
We went through to the kitchen to get a drink, then went outside to be greeted by the rest of the family.
Jessie went of to see her Sister’s and I was left looking like a loner. Jessie’s niece, Scarlett, came over to show me her new shoes
“Hey Abby, do you like my new shoes?” Scarlett said
“They look very nice” I said
“You like the colour pink? I said
“That’s my favourite colour” Scarlett said
Then She went off to go play with her brother. Jessie called me over to her and I could see the anger of Hannah’s face as I walked over.
“babe, would you like another drink?” Jessie said
“yeah, go on then” I said
Jessie went back to the kitchen and left me with her sister’s, I knew this wasn’t going to end well.
“I just thought you should know that we both hate you Abby” Hannah said
“Ok, why?” I said
“well, I know you have had your ups and downs over the past year and a half and yeah all relationships do, but you seem to hurt Jessie more than expected, you always make her feel upset because she texts us all the time wishing she wasn’t with you, she will only be with you until the next person comes along, hopefully a guy because then you can have your own kids and be normal” Rachel said
“Normal?, what’s that suppose to mean?” I said
As in not be with a lesbian for the rest of her life, you and Jessie wont last, we know the real Jessie, not you” Hannah said
“You don’t like lesbians? Well that’s alright because I’m bisexual, same as Jess, she doesn’t go texting you that I make her feel upset all the time, that’s bullshit, and Jessie wont move on to the next person or she wouldn’t of said yes to the proposal” I said
“Abby, grow up, If you don’t believe us then look at her messages, I left my phone at home so cant show you on mine, she only said yes because she didn’t want to hurt your feelings” Hannah said
Then Jessie came over with the drinks.
“What you girls been talking about? You haven’t scared Abby have you? Jessie said
Of course not, we were just talking about how nice you too are together” Rachel said
Bullshit! What a fucking liar, how dare she say that, I put on a fake smile and kissed Jessie on the lips and put my arm around her, much to her sisters disappointment.
