Chapter 4

Niall’s POV

When I turned around I saw Delilah just looking at the ground awkwardly. I was curious why she always tries pushing me away. I’ve had a crush on her you could say about 3-4 years. I just really want her to feel like she can be open with me. After ranting in my head and trying to decide if I should say something, I quickly looked up to see that Delilah moved from her spot in the middle of my room. Now she was sitting on my bed with her back against the wall. She looked like she was scrolling through a phone or I-pod. I decided to finally say something.

“Hey Delilah what ya lookin at?” I asked as I walked towards her.

“I’m sorry I saw your I-pod sitting on your bed, I was just looking at the music.” She looked like nervous/guilty.

“It’s fine you don’t have to apologize. Look at anything you want in my room.”

“Thanks, you’re the first person to be nice to me since I moved here!” She said with a huge smile on her face. She then did something that put me into shock. She stood up and gave me a hug. After about 5 seconds I responded by tightening my hold on her. We were like this for about 45 seconds until my idiotic brother had to walk in and ruin the moment again.

“Hey Ni, oh shit sorry I didn’t mean to ruin a moment or anything.” he said with a fake frown on his face. That arse!!

“Its fine, sorry I’ll go sit down.”

“Don’t apologize to this twat who doesn’t know how to knock!” I said a little bit to aggressively. I looked back at Greg.

“What do you need?”

“Um, I just wanted to ask if you guys were going to the game.”

“Yes why?”

“Well it starts in like 10 minutes.” I looked at the clock.

“Shit, okay now bye.” I said pushing him out of my room and shutting the door this time locking it.

“Do you need a jumper or anything?” I asked Delilah.

“Um, it’s fine.” She said, but I grabbed her one anyway. And since I was in a rush, I quickly ripped my shirt off. After it was off I put a new one on. Once I was ready I looked at Delilah and she was looking at the floor once again, but this time blushing.

“You ready?” I asked

“Ya,” She then grabbed the jumper off my bed and smiled. I walked out the door holding it open for her. She thanked me and walked downstairs. Before any family members could stop us I pointed to a door on the left that led to the garage. She walked through the door and stopped.

“Which one do you wanna take?” I asked chuckling at her face. I could easily tell she was shocked by the variety of cars.

“Um, there are so many options, can we take the motorcycle?”

“The blue one?”

“Please, I’ve never been on one?”

“Anything for you.” I said a little louder than planned. She gave me this look mixed with confusion and satisfaction.

“Okay, um, this way.” I awkwardly walked over to the bike and handed her a helmet she declined it.

“You sure?”

“Mhm.”

“Ok.” I said as I got onto the bike. She then got on and slid as close to me, I didn’t mind at all. Then she rapped her little arms and hands around me. I loved this feeling it felt right, more like meant to be.
